左眼視画像とを一定の時間毎に交互に切換えて表
示する表示手段と、前記表示手段の前面に設けら
れ、前記右眼視画像と左眼視画像との切換えに同
期して透過光の偏光軸を交互に切換える光制御手
段と、前記光制御手段によつて交互に切換えられ
た偏光軸方向にそれぞれ一致する偏光軸をもつた
２つの偏光板を有する偏光眼鏡とを備え、前記表
示手段に表示された画像を偏光眼鏡により観察す
るようにしたことを特徴とする立体画像表示装置
