Conventional pad material molds consist of a lower mold and an upper mold, and the material for the pad material is put into the lower mold and the upper mold is molded together, so the molded pad material has a relatively hard hardness. It has a uniform hardness. In addition, pad materials used for vehicle seats, etc., are preferably relatively hard on both sides and soft in the center, but in such cases, a hard member is formed separately, and this hard Pads with different hardness are formed by insert molding the members.

However, when insert molding a hard part, the hard part must be manufactured in advance, and when inserting it into a mold, it is difficult to insert it into the set position accurately, making the work complicated. It was uneconomical.

The partition wall 15 partitions the lower mold 12 into a plurality of small chambers 12a and 12b.
It is preferable to attach waterproof packing between the partition wall 15 and the slit 14 as appropriate. Furthermore, in this embodiment, the partition wall 15 is formed into a substantially rectangular shape when viewed from above, and the lower mold 12 is partitioned into two chambers, a small chamber 12a at the center and a small chamber 12b at the outer side. It is also possible to use two extending partition walls to partition the room into three or more chambers consisting of both sides and the center.

A pressing member 22 of the partition wall 5 is formed at a position of the upper die 21 facing the upper end edge of the partition wall 15 . The tip of this pressing member 22 is formed into a pin shape, and when the upper mold 21 is molded to the lower mold 12, it engages with the partition wall 15 of the lower mold 12, and this partition wall 15
is formed so as to be pressed against a receiving member 16 provided on the bottom 13 of the lower mold 12.

As shown in FIG. 4, a first hopper 2 containing a first material 1'a of a pad material made of relatively soft chip urethane is placed above the lower mold 12 with the upper mold 21 opened. and a second hopper 3 containing a second pad material 1'b made of relatively hard chip urethane, etc. Materials 1'a, 1'b
If a predetermined amount of is put into the small chambers 12a and 12b, and the upper mold 21 and the lower mold 12 are matched in this state, the pressing member 22 of the upper mold 21 will touch the upper edge of the partition wall 15 protruding into the lower mold 12. The first and second materials 1'a, 1'a, which were partitioned into a plurality of small chambers 12a, 12b by the partition wall 15 are then 1'b is gradually integrated from the upper part of the lower mold 12. Since the first and second materials 1'a and 1'b are made of chips such as chip urethane, they do not have high fluidity, and have a relatively soft central portion 1a and a relatively hard outer portion 1b. An integrated pad material 1 is obtained.

In the above-mentioned embodiment, the case where the pressing member 22 is fixedly formed on the upper mold 21 has been described, but a pressing member that can move up and down with respect to the upper mold 21 can also be used. Further, instead of lowering the partition wall 15 to the position of the slit 14 in the bottom 13 of the lower die 12, the partition wall 15 may be lowered halfway.

The above is the configuration of one embodiment of the pad material molding die according to the present invention. According to such a configuration, the pad material material can be changed by simply partitioning the lower mold into a plurality of small chambers using a vertically movable partition wall. can be fed without flowing, and as the upper mold descends, the partition wall is lowered by the pressing member of the upper mold, and the pad material in each chamber is successively integrated from the top of the pad material. Therefore, there is no risk of the pad material being split, and it is possible to easily obtain a pad material composed of multiple hardnesses with the desired hardness at the desired position, and the pad material has a simple structure and excellent workability. You can get a mold.
