    【実用新案登録請求の範囲】
  1. 所定間隔で略平行に対向配置された集塵極と、
    集塵極間の略中央に配置され、複数の突起が形成
    された放電極とを有し、集塵極と前記放電極間に
    発生するコロナ放電により排気ガス中の粒子を帯
    電させ、粒子を集塵極に分離捕集する電気集塵機
    において、前記集塵極の間隔を、コロナ放電の放
    電電流密度が最大となる１００mmから２００mmの
    範囲内に設定したことを特徴とする電気集塵機。
