Abstract

PURPOSE:To provide a fungicide for agricultural and horticultural use exhibiting excellent fungicidal effect against pathogens infecting to agricultural and horticultural plants, by using 2-t-butyl-5-[2-methyl-3-piperidino(or morpholino) propyl]thiophene compound as an active component. CONSTITUTION:The objective fungicide for agricultural and horticultural use contains the thiophene derivative of formula (R1 and R2 are H or 1-4C alkyl; X is CH2 or O) or its salt as an active component. The fungicide exhibits excellent fungicidal effect to the above pathogen such as rice blast, gray mold of cucumber, gray blight of cucumber, downy mildew of cucumber, bacterial spot of cucumber, etc., at a concentration of 50-1,000ppm.
