Claims (1)
- クランク軸を共通にした三つの気筒のうち一つ
の気筒を、他の二つの燃焼用気筒に対する過給用
の気筒にし、該過給用気筒に吸入した空気を、前
記他の二つの燃焼用気筒に交互に送気するように
し、且つ、前記過給用気筒におけるピストンの質
量を、燃焼用気筒におけるピストンの質量の略２
倍にした過給式多気筒内燃機関において、前記両
燃焼用気筒におけるピストンを、アルミ合金等の
比重の軽い金属材料製にする一方、過給機用気筒
におけるピストンを、鋳鉄等の比重の重い金属材
料製にしたことを特徴とする過給式多気筒内燃機
関。
