In order to achieve the above object, the method of the present invention transfers a fixed amount of the molding material a into the molds 1 and 2 through the injection hole 3 by the injection nozzle 9, and then retreats the injection nozzle 9 to the injection hole 3. Inserting the plug 11, closing the plug with the plug 11 under pressure, and closing the molds 1 and 2 to compress the molding material a;
It is also characterized by cooling or heating.

First, a method for molding thermoplastic resin using the illustrated apparatus will be specifically described. In the center of the upper female mold 1, there is provided an injection hole 3 having a tapered hole 4 at the top and a right circular hole 5 at the bottom. A male mold 2 is arranged below the female mold 1. Both molds 1,
2 has water holes 6, 6... for circulating cooling water.

The molding material (thermoplastic resin) a is put into an extruder 8 through a hopper 7, heated to a predetermined temperature, and then introduced into the molds 1 and 2 through the injection hole 3. At this time, the male and female molds 1 and 2 are set in a half-open state as shown in FIG. Further, the temperature of the molding material a is adjusted so that it has a viscosity that does not flow out from the gap between the male and female molds 1 and 2.

When the transfer operation of molding material a is completed, the extruder 8
The nozzle 9 retreats obliquely upward, and the injection hole 3 becomes open. Immediately thereafter, the stopper device 10 is activated to close the injection hole 3 with its plug 11 under pressure, as shown in FIG.
The plug body 11 has a tapered portion 12 and a right circular column portion 13, and is formed to fit into the injection hole 3. When the stopper is closed, the lower surface 14 of the stopper 11 is aligned with the inner surface 15 of the female mold 1, as shown in FIG.
The stopper device 10 is a pneumatic cylinder 1.
6 (a hydraulic cylinder may be used), the plug body 1
1 may be configured to be able to move up and down automatically. Further, a water passage hole 17 for circulating cooling water is also provided in the plug body 11.

After the cap is closed as described above, the ram 18 and the male mold 2 are moved upward as shown in FIG. 3 to tightly close both the molds 1 and 2, and compression mold the molding material a. At this time, cooling water is circulated through the water holes 6, 6...17, 17... to cool and harden the molding material a. Further, since the plug body 11 is closed under pressure, it maintains its position even when the molds 1 and 2 are tightened.

The above is an explanation of the method of molding thermoplastic resin.
When molding thermosetting resin or rubber, an appropriate mold heating means may be provided in place of the cooling means, and other molding steps are the same as in the above embodiments.

The present invention has the above configuration, and since the injection hole 3 of the mold 1 is closed under pressure when the molds 1 and 2 are tightened, it is possible to prevent the molding material a from flowing back into the injection hole 3. It can be prevented. Therefore, there is no belly button part (spool part) in the finished product, the finish is beautiful, and there is no need to cut the belly button, making it possible to proceed with the work efficiently. Furthermore, since it does not have a navel part, it is possible to avoid stress concentration around the base of the navel part as in conventional products, and it is possible to obtain a finished product with uniform strength.
