排水用トラツプは第1図に示す如きもので1は
トラツプ本体、2はトラツプ本体内で一定高さh
に形成した立上り管で下端は排水管3と連結して
なる。4は立上り管2のトラツプ本体底部から一
定高さ上方の周面及びその上面を被蔽するように
設けしめてなる蓋体、5は蓋体4内面部に設けた
ストツカーであつて、切込部pを立上り管2の上
端縁と接触させて全体的に一定間隙sが形成され

の侵入を防ぐ封水(ウオーターシール)の作用を
呈しているのであるが、暫らく水を流さないとか
或は暖房設備などのある場合には封水が蒸発して
しまつて、悪臭や虫などが室内に入つて来るとい
