【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明は、互いアジマス角度の異なる2個の回
転磁気ヘツドを交互に使用して1フイールドの映
像信号が磁気テープの長手方向に対して傾斜した
1本の記録軌跡として順次テレビジヨン信号を記
録するヘリカルスキヤン方式の磁気録画再生装置
(以下、VTRと称す)に関するものである。

う構成したものである。以下図面を参照して、そ
の一実施例をVHS方式を例にあげ説明する。

ヘツドを互にアジマス角度が異なる磁気ヘツドが
近接するように同一平面上に配した回転ヘツドシ
リンダと、 各磁気ヘツドの回転軌跡に沿つて磁気テープを
巻回せしめて、この磁気テープを標準記録モード
スピードとその標準時間記録モードスピードより
遅い長時間記録モードスピードに選択的に切換え
可能な制御手段と、 記録および再生時に少なくとも略180゜離れて配
置された2個の磁気ヘツドを選択的に切換えて磁
気テープを走査する選択手段とを具備してなるこ
とを特徴とする磁気録画再生装置。 2 選択手段が標準時間記録モードスピードの記
