Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a dot wire having a high mechanical strength and not requiring a complicated manufacturing process, by winding a brazing filler metal around one end of a wire, then heating the brazing filler metal to form a spherical body, and embedding the spherical body in a holder. CONSTITUTION:A wire 1 for a dot wire is formed of a wire material having a relatively high hardness. A coil 2 of a hard solder wound around one end of the wire 1 is heated to the melting temperature thereof, and is cooled, whereby the coil-shaped hard solder 2 is formed into a spherical body 3, and is brazed to the wire 1. A resin is molded to surround the spherical body 3 and the wire 1 in the vicinity thereof, whereby a holder 4 is provided. In the dot wire 5 thus obtained, the melting temperature of the hard solder is comparatively low, so that the internal structure of the wire 1 in the vicinity of the brazing part is not changed, and there is no possibility of the wire being broken due to its brittleness.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION <Field of Industrial Application> The present invention relates to a dot wire for a dot printer, and particularly to an end structure of a dot wire for a dot printer with high mechanical strength.

<Prior art> Generally, wires used for dot wires for dot printers include tungsten wires with an outer diameter of 0.4 or less, carbide 9
Alloy wire, piano wire, stainless steel wire, high-speed tool steel wire, etc. are used, and these wires are incorporated into the dot printer with one end supported by a holder or the like. For example, in a so-called flying type dot printer, printing is done by driving a wire by means of pushing or pulling back the holder, so not only does the holder easily fall off, but also a wire with high hardness is used. Therefore, there was a problem that the wire often broke near the holder portion where stress concentration was relatively large.

Therefore, in order to support the wire more reliably with the holder,
For example, it would be a good idea to bend one end of the wire and mold the bent part into a resin mold to form a holder, but in this case, the relatively hard wire is bent, so the wire may break during the process. There are many things. In addition, one end of the wire is made of the same or different metal material as the wire, such as Ni-
It is also possible to integrally form a spherical body by melting and cooling the Cr powder, but in this case, the wire is also heated when forming the spherical body, which changes the internal structure of the wire and prevents it from breaking due to brittleness. Not only is this easy to occur, but the shape is also likely to become unstable.

Furthermore, in order to deal with the above-mentioned drawbacks, a wire material such as a phosphor bronze wire is wound two to three times around one end of the wire, and a spherical body is formed around the wound part using a hard brazing material, and the wire is placed inside the holder. Japanese Patent Application No. 59-218868 discloses that the strength of the bond between the wire and the holder can be increased by embedding the wire in the holder without heating it at a temperature that would make the wire brittle. There is a risk that the manufacturing process will become complicated due to an increase in the number of parts such as wires and wire rods.

<Means for Solving the Problems> According to the present invention, the present invention provides a wire made of a predetermined metal and having a predetermined outer diameter, and a brazing filler metal that melts at a temperature that does not alter the quality of the metal. A dot printer comprising at least one spherical body solidified to surround the outer periphery of one end of the wire, and a synthetic resin member in which the spherical body and the same end of the wire are embedded. This is achieved by providing an end structure for the dot wire.

<Function> In this way, for example, the wire can be mechanically bent by winding the brazing filler metal formed so that it can be wound around the wire around one end of the wire, heating it to form a spherical body, and embedding it in the holder. Since it is possible to prevent the wire from falling off the holder without causing any damage, it is possible to achieve an end structure of the dot wire for a dot printer that has high mechanical strength and does not complicate the manufacturing process.

1 and 2 are sectional views of essential parts showing a first embodiment of a dot wire according to the present invention. In FIG. 1, a wire 1 of a dot wire to be incorporated into a dot printer (not shown) is made of, for example, tungsten, cemented carbide, etc.
Alternatively, it is made of a relatively hard wire rod made of high-speed tool steel. A coil 2 made of a hard brazing material, which may be silver solder, is wound around one end of the wire 1 with a predetermined number of turns. It is formed into a coil shape that can be rotated.

By heating the coil 2 made of a hard brazing material wound around one end of the wire 1 as described above to the melting temperature of the hard brazing material and then cooling it, a coiled brazing material is formed as shown in FIG. 2 is formed into a spherical body 3 and brazed to the wire 1. Then, the holder 4 is formed by molding a resin material so as to surround the spherical body 3 and the wire 1 in the vicinity thereof.

As shown in FIG. 3, the wire 1 is similar to FIG. 1.
A coil 2 made of a hard brazing material 2 wound at one end is formed with a densely wound portion 6 on both sides of the coil 2 and a sparsely wound portion 7 in the middle part. When the coil 2 is heated and cooled, spherical bodies 3 are formed in the dense portions 6 on both sides, as clearly shown in FIG.

<Effects of the Invention> As described above, according to the present invention, by winding a predetermined amount of the brazing filler metal formed so that it can be wound around the wire around one end of the wire, it is possible to extremely easily form a spherical body and braze it. Since the wire is not processed and the internal structure does not change due to high temperatures, it is possible to supply Dot Wie A7 with high mechanical strength and a small number of parts. Furthermore, by forming a plurality of spherical bodies, the outer shape of the holder can be made smaller, so that it is possible to achieve the effect of extremely easily reducing the size and weight of the dot wire.
