Abstract

PURPOSE:To trap dust even if the concn of dust contained in circulating water is high by providing a baffle plate which consists of a perforated plate and has a chevron-shaped cross-sectional form to the inside of a treatment tower and pouring water onto the baffle plate member from an overflow gutter. CONSTITUTION:Water sprinkled in a treatment tower 2 is introduced into a screen treating tank 4 through a drainage pipe 3 from the tower bottom and dust contained in water is roughly removed and thereafter it is stored in a water tank 1. Dust-laden air is blown from an air intake port 7 provided to the lower side part of the treatment tower 2 with a blower or the like and blown upward through the inside of the tower, dehumidified by a mist separator 8 and discharged to the atmosphere. Perforated baffle plate members 9, 10, 11 having a chevron-shaped cross-sectional form are provided in a double-level step up and down in the tower. Overflow gutters 12 are provided on the baffle plate members 9, 10 of the upper step respectively so as to allow water drawn up from the water tank 1 with a circulating pump 13 to overflow. Therefore water becomes a sprinkled state and the contacting efficiency of gas and liquid can be enhanced.

[Detailed Description of the Invention] <Industrial Application Field> This invention receives dust-containing air into the lower part of the inside of the treatment tower and blows it upward, and also sprinkles water into the tower from above, and this water spraying removes dust from the air. This invention relates to water scrubbers for use in grain processing equipment such as country elevators and rice centers, which separates dust contained in water scrubbers.

(Problem to be solved by the invention) Since the water used for this watering is used by collecting dust in the treatment tower and circulating it with a pump, the water is mixed with the collected dust, and the water is mixed with dust. When the concentration of dust increases, the water spray nozzle becomes clogged, reducing the water spraying efficiency and thus the dust collection efficiency.

<Means for Solving the Problems> Therefore, the present invention constructs a baffle plate member with a rectangular cross section made of a porous plate in the treatment tower, and also installs an overflow gutter that pours water onto the baffle plate member from above. It is characterized by having been provided.

<Example> In the illustrated example, 1 is a water tank, 2 is a treatment tower installed above the water tank, and the water sprinkled in the treatment tower is drained from the bottom of the tower through a drain pipe 3 into a screen treatment tank 4. After roughly removing the dust contained in the water, store it in a water tank. <Effects of the Invention> In the present invention, water is poured from an overflow gutter onto a baffle plate member with a rectangular cross section made of a porous plate, and the baffle plate member makes the water sprinkled, thereby reducing the concentration of dust in the circulating water. Even if it is expensive, water can be sprinkled inside the treatment tower like rain to collect dust in the dust-containing air.
