ースの一部平面図である。第2図および第3図に
示すように本実施例の時計付電気スタンドは、光
源を装着したセード1を支持する支柱2を電気ス
タンドのベース7に固着し、該ベース7は上面に
光源の点滅スイツチ6を設け、傾斜した縦軸8を
中心にして開閉するパネル9を前面に設けて該パ
ネル9に文字板、駆動装置、操作つまみを備えた
時計機構10を文字板11が表面になるように取
付けている。パネル9の裏面には時計機構10に
直接設けられた針合わせ等の操作つまみ12があ
り、時計を駆動させる乾電池13の収納場所が設
けられている。前記縦軸8はベース7の前面一側
に設けられたヒンジ用のものであつて、下端側が
前面に迫り出すように傾斜する。この傾斜はこの
縦軸8に取付けられたパネル9をひとりでにベー
ス7に対して閉成せしめるための工夫である。ま
たベース7の前方は上記パネル9を閉じたとき支
障を生じない位置に、ベース7内部の電気部品を
保護する隔壁14を設けている。本実施例の時計
付電気スタンドは上記パネル9を閉じた状態で日
常使用し、針合せや乾電池の交換をするときだけ
パネル9を開き、つまみ12を操作したり乾電池
13の交換を行う。上記のようにパネル9を支持
する縦軸8は前後に傾斜して設けているため、第
4図に示すようにパネル9の重心Gに働く重力W
のベースの後方に向う分力W1と該W1に直角の方
向に向う分力W2とに分解される。このパネル9
の分力W1が第5図に示すように重心Gと縦軸8
を含む方向上のXの位置にあるとき、すなわちパ
ネル9の開き角度がAのときはパネル9がXの位
置で停止し、パネル9の開き角度がAをこえてB
となりパネル9がYの位置に来たときは上記分力
W1によつてパネル9は常に開かれるが、パネル
9の開き角度がAよりも小さく例えばCであつて
Zの位置にパネル9があるときは、常に上記分力
W1が作用してパネル9は閉じられる。したがつ
てパネル9は開き角度Aをこえて開かれない限り
パネル9が開かれたまま放置されることがない。
本実施例では縦軸8が前後に傾斜した場合につい
て記したが、上記縦軸が左右に傾斜する場合も同
様である。しかし、いずれの場合も縦軸の下端が
ベース外方に迫り出すように縦軸全体を傾斜させ
ることが必要である。パネル9に電池13を配置
したのは、電池13の交換のためであり、パネル
9に加わる重量を増してパネル閉成を補助するた
めであり、またヒンジ(縦軸8)を経由する電気
配線を省略するためである。なおベース7の前方
に設けた隔壁14は時間割やカレンダなどを貼付
するのに利用することができる。
