However, in these conventional push-type marking pens, when the pen tip is repeatedly pressed against a writing surface such as paper to open and close the valve, the ink that flows out is impregnated into the pen tip and becomes ready for writing.
Excess ink flows along the outer periphery of the nib body and the inner wall of the holder, overflowing into the nib and staining the writing surface, resulting in a phenomenon called smudging or doubling. In addition, it is common knowledge that push-type marking pens with fiber nibs and push-pull marking pens with plastic nibs that have recently been commercially available both have the above-mentioned drawbacks, especially when the nib is It has been pointed out that plastic nibs for fine print have a drawback in that they tend to bleed when pressed. For example, in a marking pen that consists of a pen tip, an ink guide core, and a valve mechanism, such as the structure shown in Japanese Utility Model Application Publication No. 57-70884, the ink that flows out from the valve is collected even if there is an ink guide core and an ink holder. Excess ink tends to drip from around the pen tip, a drawback of conventional push-pull marking pens that remains unresolved.

The present invention has been made in view of these points, and an object of the present invention is to provide a push-type marking pen that eliminates the conventional drawbacks and has a structure that does not cause the drop-off phenomenon.

Further, a stepped portion 1 at the rear part 1b of the ink storage box 1
A breathable ink absorber 6 such as a sponge is provided between the gasket body 5 at the front of the valve mechanism and the rear peripheral edge of the reservoir box, and the tip 2a of the nib body 2 is provided with a breathable ink absorber 6 such as a sponge.
When pressed, it is compressed and contracted between the stepped portion 1c of the storage box 1 and the front surface of the packing body of the valve mechanism. Also, an ink storage box rear part 1 in front of the packing body 5 fitted into the front part of the valve mechanism A is provided.

FIG. 6 shows another embodiment of the present invention,
Packing body 5 of valve mechanism A in rear part 1b of ink storage box
An air hole 1d is formed on the side surface of the fitting part with the front part toward the inside of the storage box to form an air flow path between the breathable ink absorber 6 and the inside of the ink storage box 1. The position of the air hole 1d communicates between the inside of the ink reservoir box 1 and the ink absorber 6 during writing, and when pressing the pen tip 2a to replenish ink to the ink reservoir box 1, The air hole 1d is bored at a position where it is closed by the inner surface of the packing body 5 and communication between the inside of the ink storage box 1 and the ink absorber 6 is cut off. The present invention is constructed as described above, but in the case of writing, since the pressing force of the pen tip is not large, a breathable ink absorber is used as shown in FIGS. 1 and 3, which are the first embodiment. If an air groove for communicating between the body 6 and the inside of the ink reservoir box 1 is recessed in the inner surface of the packing which is the fitting part, air enters the holder 7 from the air groove 8 at the tip of the holder and the ink reservoir Box 1
The air passes through the air permeable ink absorber 6 from the gap 16 between the outer wall of the holder and the holder 7, passes through the air groove 5a, the inner hole 5b of the packing body, and the air inlet 3, and then enters the ink storage box 1.
The ink holder 9 is supplied with the ink. Therefore, when writing, air flows into the ink reservoir as the ink is consumed from the pen tip 2a, allowing smooth writing.

Next, when replenishing ink into the ink storage box 1, as shown in FIG.
The blockage of the valve 10a is released, and the ink flows through the valve mechanism A.
The ink flows out from the ink inlet 3 to the ink storage box 1.
flow inside. At this time, the ink storage box rear part 1b
Since the inner wall of the packing body 5 is airtightly fitted and the air groove 5a is closed, all the ink flowing out from the valve mechanism A flows into the ink storage box 1 without leaking. Further, the ink in the ink storage box 1 flows out to the pen tip body 2, and the ink in the pen tip body 2a flows out.
It becomes possible to write on it. At this time, as described above, ink is prevented from flowing toward the gap between the holder 7 and the outer wall of the ink storage box 1, and
Ink flows into the ink reservoir box 1 and is retained in the ink holder 9, and even if the valve seat 12 is closed, the excess ink can be kept airtight between the ink reservoir box 1 and the valve mechanism A. This automatically stops ink from flowing out. Therefore, the ink flows smoothly and quickly into the pen tip body 2, and the ink becomes ready for writing soon after being pushed. Moreover, unlike the conventional push-type marking pen, the ink flowing out from the valve mechanism flows into the pen tip. There is no drawback that the liquid flows along the outer circumference of the body and the inner wall of the holder to the pen tip opening and overflows from the pen tip.

Next, as shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, which are the second embodiment, an air hole for communicating between the breathable ink absorber 6 and the inside of the ink storage box 1 is inserted into the ink ink absorber 6, which is a fitting part. If the storage box is bored on the side of the rear part 1b, the pressing force of the pen tip is not large during writing, so air flows into the holder 7 from the air groove 8 at the tip of the holder, as in the first embodiment. The ink enters the ink storage box 1 through the gap 16 between the outer wall of the ink storage box 1 and the holder 7, passes through the air-permeable ink absorber 6 and the air hole 1d, and flows to the ink holder 9 inside the ink storage box 1. Therefore, writing can be done smoothly as in the first embodiment. Furthermore, when replenishing ink into the ink storage box 1, as shown in FIG. 8, if the pen tip 2a is directed downward and pressed a little forcefully against a surface P such as a writing surface, the same process as in the first embodiment is performed. The ink flows out from the valve mechanism A and flows into the ink storage box 1, but at this time, the air hole 1d of the storage box is blocked by the inner wall surface of the packing body 5, so the ink that flows out from the valve mechanism A does not leak. All of the ink flows into the ink storage box 1. In this case, as in the first embodiment, even if the valve seat 12 is closed, the ink storage box 1 and the valve mechanism A are kept airtight, so that the excess ink is automatically drained out. can be stopped. Similarly to the first embodiment, the ink flowing out from the valve mechanism does not flow through the outer circumference of the nib body and the inner wall of the holder to the nib opening and overflow from the nib, as in the first embodiment.

In addition, although the embodiment has been described in which the ink retainer 9 is filled in the ink reservoir box 1, depending on the viscosity of the ink, it is not necessary to fill the ink retainer 9 in the ink reservoir box 1. The properties of the ink carrier 9 are adjusted depending on the properties of the ink.

In this way, the ink flow mechanism of the present invention can change the marking from bold to fine by appropriately adjusting the shape of the air flow path to the ink storage box and the properties of the ink holder, depending on the flow characteristics of the ink. It can be used in various push-type marking pens, including pens, and has the novel advantage that the ink flow rate can be adjusted to an appropriate condition by adjusting each of these parts.

As is clear from the detailed explanation above,
The present invention is characterized by an improvement to the structure of the conventional push-type marking pen, in which an ink storage box is airtightly connected to a valve mechanism, and air is circulated through the storage box during writing. As a result, the drawbacks of the conventional pen can be solved and the ink can flow out smoothly, and the ink does not overflow to the pen tip and stain the writing surface.
