However, as is well known with such a conventional configuration, the chronograph mechanism has to be complicated because it starts, stops, and returns multiple chronograph hands, and when it comes to watches with chronographs, they are thick and thick.・
The problem was that it had become too large, and if the batteries were added together, it would be far from a practical watch.

[Means for Solving the Problems] The analog chronograph watch of the present invention has a pointer shaft in the center of the dial, an hour hand and a minute hand that normally display the time, and a pointer shaft located off the center of the dial. A chronograph sub-hand for displaying information different from the normal time, a first step motor mounted on the main plate to drive the hour and minute hands, and a ring that transmits rotation of the first step motor to the hour and minute hands. a second step motor mounted on the base plate for driving the width needle, a second step motor that pivotally supports the rotor of the second step motor; the chronograph sub hands are formed to be shorter than the hour and minute hands, and the distance between the main plate and the second support plate is shorter than the distance between the main plate and the first support plate. The battery 25 is arranged in parallel with the first receiving plate and overlapped with the second receiving plate.

In Figure 2, 9 is a normal clock, 8 is a normal minute hand, 16
is usually a second hand, and each pointer shaft is arranged so as to pass through the center of the dial 21. The rotor 15a of the step motor 15 engages with the front wheel train 30 to transmit meshing rotation, and the rotor 15a and the front wheel train 30 are pivotally supported by the base plate 29 and the receiving plate 31. 20 is a chronograph minute hand and constitutes a sub-hand. The chronograph minute hand 20 is formed shorter than the hour hand 9 and minute hand 8 to reduce inertia, and is directly attached to the rotor 19a. Also, the rotor 19a has a base plate 29 and a receiving plate 3.
It is pivoted by 2. Main plate 29 and receiving plate 32
The interval is set shorter than the interval between the base plate 29 and the receiving plate 31. This is based on the fact that when the length of the pointer is short and the inertia is small, the tilt of the pointer is difficult to visually recognize even if the distance between supports is short, and there is no problem in practical use. .
By arranging the battery 25 in parallel with the receiving plate 31 and overlapping the receiving plate 32 in a plane, the battery is prevented from protruding from the timepiece, and the analog multifunctional timepiece can be made smaller.

As described above, according to the present invention, the pointer shaft of the minute hand of a watch that normally displays time is placed at the center of the dial, and the pointer shaft of the chronograph sub-hand for displaying other information is removed from the center of the dial. The first step motor, which drives the hour and minute hands, and the second step motor, which drives the sub-hand, are mounted on the main plate separated from each other in plan view. A second support plate is provided which pivotally supports the rotor of the second step motor, and the chronograph sub hands are formed shorter than the normal time and minute hands.
The interval between the receiving plates is made shorter than the interval between the main plate and the first receiving plate, and the battery is placed in parallel with the first receiving plate, and the second
Since it is placed overlapping the receiving plate, it brings about the following effects.

a In the present invention, a step motor separate from the motor for normal hand operation is used to drive the pointers for additional functions, and each motor rotor, a plate-shaped stator surrounding the rotor, and a step motor located parallel to the main plate at a position away from the rotor are used. It consists of a coil with a large core, and its multiple motors are distributed and arranged without overlapping each other, making it possible to provide a thin analog chronograph watch.

b The pointer shaft of the pointer tilts due to dimensional variations between the base plate and the receiving plate, resulting in the pointer tilting and tilting, and the drive torque increases due to the tilt. In order to reduce this problem of tilting, it is preferable that the distance between the supports of the pointer shaft is long. However, in the present invention, we focused on the fact that when the length of the chronograph sub-hand is made shorter than the hour and minute hands, the effect of tilt is less visually and in terms of torque. The interval is formed to be shorter than the interval between the main plate and the first receiving plate that pivotally supports the normal time display pointer, and the battery is placed in parallel with the first receiving plate, and a part of the motor for the second receiving plate and its sub-hand is formed. Since the battery is placed overlapping the watch body, the battery can be placed without protruding from the watch body, and a small and thin watch mechanical body can be provided without reducing battery life.
