Conventionally, when displaying the volume etc. of each channel in a device having a plurality of channels, it has been common to provide an operation knob for each channel and read the volume etc. from the amount of displacement of this operation knob. However, in this case, even if the volume of each channel can be checked, there is a problem in that it is difficult to read the overall balance at a glance.

In addition, in a 4-channel stereo, one volume is provided for each of the four channels, and these volumes are driven in conjunction with one operating lever, which is called a joystick control volume. things are used. In this case, it is convenient because the overall balance can be roughly determined by the degree of inclination of one operating lever, but there is a problem in that it is difficult to determine the volume of each channel. In addition, the control lever had to be relatively long, and because it protruded far from the surface of the device, it could not be stored in flat radios, etc., and if used in car radios, it would be undesirable from the safety standards in the car. .

Note that on the printed circuit board 5 there are light emitters 6 and 7.
a to 10e and IC-based drive circuits 12a to 1
2d, current limiting resistors 13a, 13b, etc. are attached, and a circuit foil to which these are also connected in a predetermined relationship is printed together with the switch circuit foils 11a to 11d. Further, FIG. 3 shows the electrical connection relationship of this embodiment, and 18a to 18d are input terminals to which signals of each channel are applied, and 19 is a power supply terminal. Although not shown, electronic volumes are inserted into each of the four channels, and the electronic volumes inserted into the FRONT, REAR, LEFT, and RIGHT channels are interlocked with each other, and when one volume is increased, The other volume is configured to decrease accordingly.

In the above configuration, when the operation knob 4a is pressed, the movable contact 3a closes the circuit foil 11a, the electronic volume inserted in the FRONT channel is driven, and the FRONT channel signal is applied to the input terminal 18a in FIG. Level increases. Along with this, the signal level of the REAR channel also decreases. Changes in these signal levels are detected by the drive circuits 12a and 12c, respectively, and the light emitters 7a to 7e and 9 are activated according to the respective levels.
a to 9e are driven. In other words, as the volume of the FRONT channel increases, the light emitters 7a and 7
b, 7c, 7d... will light up, and conversely, as the volume of the REAR channel decreases, light emitters 9e, etc. will light up.
d, 9c... and the light goes out. The same applies to the LEFT and RIGHT channels.

In this way, you can check the volume balance of the four channels at a glance by looking at the light emission patterns of the four light emitter rows, and moreover, when checking the balance from the tilt of the control lever like the joystick control volume. You can check more accurately by comparing. In addition, operation knob 4
If a to 4d are made of thin materials, the entire device can be made extremely thin, making it possible to incorporate it into a thin radio, and making it fully compliant with safety standards when used in a car radio. can do.

Moreover, as in this embodiment, the driving circuits 12a to 12d and the light emitters 6 and 7a are provided on one printed circuit board.
~10e, by providing switch circuit foils 11a to 11d, all wiring between them can be done with circuit foils, and connections with other circuits can be made as shown in Figure 3A-10e.
Since only the lead wire passing through A' and the power supply ground lead wire are required, the number of wires can be significantly reduced, and in this respect, the device can be made smaller. If the drive circuits 12a to 12d are installed outside the printed circuit board 5 and connected to the light emitters 7a to 10e, etc., lead wires passing through B-B' in FIG. 3, power supply, and ground lead wires are required. Therefore, the number of wires increases, making it impossible to achieve miniaturization.

In addition, since a display device can be constructed by simply mounting a large number of parts on one printed circuit board 5 and overlapping the frame 2 and display panel thereon, it is possible to configure a display device by simply mounting a large number of parts on one printed circuit board 5, and by overlapping the frame 2 and the display panel. In addition, the productivity can be significantly improved.

The display pattern may be as shown in FIGS. 4a and 4b depending on the number of channels, or the display rows and operation knobs may be provided at shifted positions as shown in FIG. Good too.

In any case, it is convenient if only the central light emitter 6 is turned on when the main volume is set to the minimum, since it is possible to distinguish between a state where the volume is zero and a state where the power is off. Further, the light emitters may be lit continuously in a bar shape, only one or several adjacent ones corresponding to the maximum level may be lit, or they may be made to blink.

As described above, the balance display device for a multi-channel device according to the present invention includes a plurality of light emitting body rows arranged radially around one point corresponding to the plurality of channel arrangement directions whose volume is to be adjusted, and these light emitting body rows. Multiple operation knobs provided corresponding to the tip of the
It consists of a switch that shorts the circuit foil with a movable contact operated by each operating knob, and an electronic volume that is driven using the output of the switch, and the amount of electricity for each channel is driven by the operation of each operating knob. and a drive circuit that detects the amount of electricity in each channel and drives the light emitters in the corresponding row of light emitters. Since the light emitters in the corresponding row of light emitters are driven by each channel, the balance between the multiple channels can be checked very easily. Since the light emitters forming the body array and the drive circuit described above are provided on a single printed circuit board, the number of wiring lines can be greatly reduced, and the device can be made smaller and thinner. It has advantages.
