Prior Art There is a conventional liquid crystal injection method as shown in FIG. 5. First, the liquid crystal pan 11 is held in a vertical position as shown in FIG. The liquid crystal material 2 is placed in the cassette 7, and the three sides around the two glass substrates are sealed at a predetermined position on the floor part 11b, and an injection port is formed on one side. The liquid crystal cell 6 is held in a cassette 7 or the like. Then, all of them are evacuated in a vacuum container (not shown).Next, the liquid crystal cell 6 is brought into contact with the floor part 11b, and the liquid crystal cell 6 is brought into contact with the floor part 11b. When the liquid crystal pan 11 is rotated approximately 90 degrees, the liquid crystal material 2 in the liquid crystal reservoir section 11a moves to the floor section 11b and immerses the injection port of the liquid crystal cell 6. At this time, nitrogen or the like is introduced into the vacuum container. When the inert gas is injected, the liquid crystal 2 is injected into the vacuum liquid crystal cell 6 due to the pressure difference, and after the injection is completed, the liquid crystal pan 11 is rotated approximately 90 degrees again as shown in FIG. 5(C). After the liquid crystal material 2 adhering to the periphery of the injection port is removed from the vacuum vessel, the liquid crystal injection process is completed.

For this reason, the manufacturing cost of the liquid crystal display device becomes unnecessarily high. [Means for Solving the Problems] The present invention is a specific means for solving the problems that occur in the conventional liquid crystal injection method described above. In the method of vacuum injecting the liquid crystal material into the liquid crystal cell which rotates the liquid crystal material in the liquid crystal reservoir part approximately 90 degrees and brings it into contact with the floor part, the floor part of the liquid crystal pan has porous holes formed of cellulose or the like. By providing a liquid crystal injection method characterized in that a porous body is provided and the floor portion and the liquid crystal cell are brought into contact with each other through the porous body, it is possible to prevent the liquid crystal from adhering to the liquid crystal cell and being carried away. The liquid crystal material lost is significantly reduced, thereby solving the problem of unnecessarily high manufacturing costs in the prior art. K Embodiment Next, the present invention will be described in detail based on an embodiment shown in the drawings. In order to facilitate understanding, parts that are the same as those in the conventional example will be described with the same reference numerals, and descriptions of some overlapping parts will be omitted. 1 is a liquid crystal pan, and the liquid crystal pan 1 has a liquid crystal reservoir part 1a and a floor part 1 as in the conventional example.
According to the present invention, a porous body 3 made of, for example, sponge-like cellulose is attached to the floor portion 1b by suitable means such as a holder 1C and a stopper 4. FIG. 2 shows the liquid crystal injection method according to the present invention in the order of steps. First, as shown in FIG. A liquid crystal cell 6 held in cassettes 1 to 7 or the like is brought close to the porous body 3 and evacuated in a vacuum container (not shown).Next, as shown in FIG. 2(B), The liquid crystal cell 6 is brought into contact with the porous body 3, and the liquid crystal pan 1
is rotated approximately 90 degrees to a horizontal position, whereby the liquid crystal material 2 is absorbed into the porous body 3 and reaches the injection port of the liquid crystal cell 6, at which time an inert gas is injected into the vacuum container. This creates a pressure difference and causes the liquid crystal material 2 to flow inside the liquid crystal cell 6.
is injected. Meanwhile, as shown in FIG. 2(C) again, the liquid crystal pan 1 is placed in a vertical position. The absorbed liquid crystal material 2 is in the liquid crystal reservoir part 1a.
At the same time, the liquid crystal material 2 adhering to the side of the liquid crystal cell 6 where the injection port is provided is also adsorbed by capillary action, thereby significantly reducing the amount of liquid crystal material 2 that is wasted as in the conventional example. What is shown in FIG. 3 is another embodiment of the porous body 3 according to the present invention. The liquid crystal material 2 is quickly distributed, and a plurality of holes 3a are formed in the vertical direction on the back side of the porous glass plate 3, that is, on the side in contact with the liquid crystal pan 1. Bread 1
When the liquid crystal material 2 is rotated from the vertical position to the horizontal position, the liquid crystal material 2 flows through the groove 3a and quickly spreads over the entire surface. The one shown in FIG. 4 is yet another embodiment of the present invention, and in consideration of the fact that the porous body 3 is often replaced due to dirt etc. in actual implementation, the porous body 3 is not used in the above embodiment. The grooves provided in the body 3 are provided on the side of the liquid crystal pan 1, and a plurality of liquid crystal guiding grooves 1d are provided in the vertical direction on the surface shared by the liquid crystal reservoir portion 1a and the floor portion 1b of the liquid crystal pan 1. The operation and effect thereof are the same as those of the embodiment described above, so a description thereof will be omitted. In addition, this liquid crystal guiding groove 1d
By fitting the liquid crystal guide rod 5 into the liquid crystal guide t,
The effect can be further enhanced by the capillary phenomenon that occurs between M 1 d and the liquid crystal guiding rod 5. In addition, the porous body 3 and the grooves 3a described above in the implementation. It goes without saying that it is free to provide the liquid crystal guiding groove 1d or the liquid crystal guiding rod 5, etc., only in the necessary areas. [Effects of the Invention] As explained above, according to the present invention, a porous body made of cellulose or the like is provided in the floor portion of a liquid crystal pan, and the liquid crystal is injected into the floor portion and the liquid crystal via the porous body. By bringing the cell into contact with the liquid crystal cell, the amount of wasted liquid crystal material that adheres to the side where the injection port of the liquid crystal cell is provided is absorbed by the capillary action of the porous body, thereby significantly reducing the amount of liquid crystal material that is wasted. The manufacturing cost of the liquid crystal display device can be significantly reduced, resulting in an excellent cost reduction effect.
