線発射口、13は光透過型表示素子例えば液晶表
示素子でありテレビチヤンネルの選局表示及び計
算機として使用する場合の演算結果の表示をする
ものである。液晶表示素子13は、図示しないが
一対の微小間隙を保つて配置した透明電極間に液
晶物質を封入した公知の液晶セルが用いられ、電
圧印加部分の液晶物質が光の屈折率を変化するこ
とを利用したものである。従つて、リモコン装置
として使用するとき操作面の表面側からの光はこ
の液晶表示素子13を透過し背面側に配置した反
射板14で反射され、この反射光が再び表面側に
反射するいわゆる光透過反射型表示装置を構成し
ている。上記反射板14は、第3図に断面図示す
るように、液晶表示素子13部の背面側で適宜移
動(スライド)可能な構造のケース本体により構
成されている。そして、リモコン操作をしない時
には、この反射板14を液晶表示素子13の背面
位置からスライドさせて、第4図及び第5図に示
すように、ランプ等の照明光源15を有するテレ
ビ本体16に取付けるとき、液晶表示素子13は
背面に配置されたランプ15の光を透過して鮮明
なテレビチヤンネルの選局表示がなされる。第6
図は上記テレビ選局表示と計算機演算表示の両機
能を有するリモコン装置8のブロツク回路図を示
すもので、電源17、操作部18、制御部19及
び赤外発光部20を含む従来のリモコン装置回路
に於いて、制御部19からのテレビ選局制御信号
で、赤外発光部20を駆動すると共に、表示駆動
回路21を駆動してテレビチヤンネルの切換動作
と同時に液晶表示素子13にチヤンネル表示がな
されるようにしたものである。又、計算機として
利用する場合は、モード切換スイツチ11を計算
機側に切換えて、演算部22を電源23に接続し
て操作部18よりのキー入力を演算し、この演算
結果を駆動回路23を介して液晶表示素子13に
表示する。この場合、操作部18の選局ボタン9
はテンキーとして利用される。かゝるテレビ選局
のリモコン装置回路や計算機の演算回路は公知回
路により適宜設計出来るものであり、この場合液
晶表示素子13、操作部18の入力装置及び電源
17,23等は適宜共用して利用し得るものであ
る。
