Conventionally, the above method of roof lining installation was
As shown in FIG. 1, first, the front edge of the roof lining 1 is fixed to the flange of the front roof rail 2 by clipping or molding, and then the roof lining 1 is attached to the bag portions 3 provided on the top surface of the roof lining 1 at appropriate intervals in the longitudinal direction. Support wires 4 inserted through each
Insert them into the holes 6 of the roof rails 5 on both sides, starting from the front one, with the bow shape reversed (see Figure 2).
Each time, the support wire 4 is turned upward and brought into pressure contact with the insulator 8 affixed to the inner surface of the roof panel 7, and then the rear end edge of the roof lining 1 is connected to the flange of the rear roof rail (not shown). Finally, both sides of the roof lining 1 are fixed to the lower flange 5a of the roof rail 5 with clips or moldings 9 as shown in FIG.

The above-mentioned tensioning work is carried out manually by an operator, and in particular, during the above-mentioned tensioning work, the support wire 4
If the support wire 4, which is inverted upward, does not come into pressure contact with the insulator 8 or the contact force is insufficient due to variations in vehicle body assembly, it may fall downward, and the rear edge of the roof lining 1 may When fixing it to the flange of the roof rail, the roof lining 1 is pulled rearward and stopped, so the support wires 4 sometimes fall down all at once, which has the drawback of very poor workability.

In order to prevent these drawbacks, conventional roof rails were provided with cutout grooves (1983-
162021) or one in which a protrusion is provided around the support wire insertion hole (Utility Model Application Publication No. 56-62284), but the provision of a cutout groove is not preferable because it reduces the strength of the roof rail 5. In addition, if a protrusion is provided at the above location, the support wire 4
When reversing the support wire, a large force is required, which is unsuitable for line work in which a large number of support wires 4 are fitted, and the structure is also complicated.

The bulges 15, 15 are formed on the roof rail inner plate 11 along the concave contour line C of the set seat surface 13,
It gradually increases in height from the bottom to the top and is formed smoothly and continuously on both sides of the upper center of the set seating surface 13 so as to be flush with the roof rail inner plate 11, and the amount of bulge is equal to the upright position of the support wire 12. It is designed to interfere with the rising portion b of the support wire 12 immediately before and after.

Now, as shown by the dashed line in FIGS. 4 and 5, the support wire 12 is inserted downward into the support wire insertion hole 1.
When the support wire 12 is attached to the support wire 4 and is turned upside down as shown by the solid line, the set part a of the support wire 12 lightly contacts the set seat surface 13 up to the vicinity of the bulging part 15, but the set part a and the rising part b There is nothing interfering with the support wire 12, and the support wire 12 can be easily rotated. When the support wire 12 is reversed upward by 180 degrees, the rising portion b following the set portion a of the support wire 12 is aligned with the bulging portion 15.
It is gradually elastically deformed while being smoothly guided, and the force for elastic engagement with the holding recess 16 is accumulated, so that it can be smoothly engaged with the holding recess 16.

Furthermore, when the set seat surface 13 is recessed from the roof rail inner plate 11 as in this embodiment, it is convenient that the set portion a and the rising portion b of the support wire 12 do not become interior protrusions.

As explained above, the present invention has a bent portion at both ends inserted into the insertion hole of the inner plate of the roof rail, and a set portion that extends integrally from the bent portion and comes into close contact with the inner plate of the roof rail in an upright state. In the roof lining of an automobile, the support wire is stretched over the ceiling of the vehicle interior via multiple approximately arch-shaped support wires that are suspended by inserting the bent portions into insertion holes in the inner plates of the roof rails on both sides in the vehicle width direction. A substantially semicircular recess is formed upward in the inner plate of the roof rail around the wire insertion hole with a radius larger than the rotation radius of the support wire set part, and the depth of the recess is directed from the bottom to the top. It is formed on the roof rail inner plate along the gradually deepened set seat surface and the recessed contour line of the set seat surface, and gradually becomes higher from the bottom to the top until it becomes flush with the roof rail inner plate on both sides of the center upper part of the set seat surface. Since the roof rail is provided with a bulging portion that bulges out as shown in FIG. It has similar effects. First, the set seating surface is recessed upward in a substantially semicircular shape with a radius larger than the rotation radius of the set portion of the support wire, with the support wire insertion hole as the center, and the depth of the recess is adjusted from below. Since the support wire is gradually deepened upward, when installing the support wire, insert the bent portions of both ends into the insertion holes of the roof rail inner plate with the curve direction downward, and in this state, insert the support wire into the insertion holes on both sides. When inverting the roof rail 180° upwards around the insertion hole, the set portion of the support wire can be easily rotated along the set seat surface.
Next, the bulging portion is bulged out along the concave contour line of the set seat so that it gradually increases in height from below to the top so that it is flush with the inner plate of the roof rail on both sides of the upper center of the set seat, In addition, by forming a holding recess between the bulges, when the support wire is reversed upward by 180 degrees, the rising portion of the support wire following the set portion is smoothly guided by the bulge. It is gradually elastically deformed while being held, and stores a force for elastic engagement with the holding recess. Therefore, the upward reversal operation of the support wire can be facilitated, and the operating force can be reduced. Further, since the holding recess is formed by recessing the inner plate of the roof rail between the bulges at the upper center of the set seating surface, there is no fear of a reduction in strength as in the case of notched grooves. In addition, since the highest part of the bulge is flush with the inner plate of the roof rail, it is possible to eliminate any protrusion toward the inside of the vehicle.
