発信加入者のコードを設定し通知していた。その
ため、同一パケツト交換網内の加入者間通信では
問題はないが、国際パケツト通信のように複数の
パケツト交換網を経由して通信を行なう場合に
は、各々のパケツト交換網は各々の仕様で制御さ
れているため、発信交換機で特殊フイールドに設
定されたコード情報は中継交換網で廃棄され着信
交換機まで到達できない欠点を持つていた。
