[Detailed description of the invention] [Industrial application field] The invention relates to a water-pulling method in which a tape made of plastic film is wound around paper threads, and in particular, a water-resistant coating layer such as kaolin clay is coated on the surface of the paper threads. A neutral adhesive is applied to the surface, and a vapor-deposited plastic film is wrapped around the surface with the vapor-deposited side facing inside, thereby improving adhesion and eliminating the need for a top coat to protect the vapor-deposited surface. It is related to mizuhiki for crafts.

[Prior art and its problems] Conventional mizuhiki involves wrapping a tape obtained by pasting aluminum foil and paper around paper threads with an adhesive.
It is known that a tape obtained by pasting paper on the back side of a vacuum-deposited plastic film is wound, or a tape obtained by applying an adhesive to the surface of twisted paper yarn and directly winding a plastic film tape is known. .
However, these conventional mizuhiki methods ignore the properties and condition of the paper strands and wrap thin aluminum foil or plastic film tape using only adhesive.
Therefore, the irregularities on the surface of the paper strands appeared as they were on the surface of these tapes, giving the surface of the tape a rough feel. In addition, because the paper threads have high water absorption, water-soluble or emulsion-based adhesives are absorbed by the paper threads, making it impossible to form a complete adhesive layer on the surface of the paper threads. Wrapped Mizuhiki has a tendency to untwist from the cut surface, and for example, even in Utility Model Publication No. 40221/1983, which did not require a plastic film backing, the adhesives described, such as polyvinyl alcohol and vinyl acetate, were used. - An adhesive consisting of an emulsion of an acrylic acid lower alkyl ester copolymer and an amino resin initial condensate is used, but polyvinyl alcohol is usually used as a thickener,
In experiments conducted by the applicant, the adhesion to plastic film was poor and the water resistance was poor. Therefore, the purpose of adding an amino resin initial condensate, that is, a urea resin condensate and a melamine resin condensate to the vinyl acetate-alkyl ester copolymer is to improve water resistance. A colorant made of an inorganic pigment such as magnesium carbonate is applied to the opposite side of the plastic film to the vapor deposition surface to form a discrimination layer, and the plastic film is wound with the discrimination layer inside. On top of that,
Because the paper twisted yarn is soaked with a large amount of water-soluble adhesive, the synthetic resin, that is, the plastic element, becomes large in the paper twisted yarn, and the water pulling becomes soft in hot and humid weather, but becomes hard in cold weather, making it difficult to make Koume Zaiku. Small bendable craftwork like this one had no roundness and ended up with angular Mizuhiki work. In addition, it is common knowledge that adhesives easily adhere to porous materials, but have difficulty adhering to smooth materials such as plastic film that do not allow adhesive to penetrate. From the viewpoint of protection, an attempt was made to wind the film around paper yarn with the vapor-deposited surface, which is rougher than the film surface, on the inside. However, with the adhesives conventionally used in the industry, the vapor-deposited surface oxidizes and the photo-selectivity of the vapor-deposited surface becomes slow, so it has not been possible to actually wind the film with the vapor-deposited surface inside.

[Means for solving the problem] In the present invention, in view of the problem, a 50% solution of kaolin clay as a main component and a 55% solution of ethylene vinyl acetate emulsion as a fixing agent is applied to the surface of an appropriate twisted paper yarn. A water-resistant clay coat layer is provided, and a neutral adhesive layer based on ethylene vinyl acetate or polyester resin is provided on the surface of the clay coat layer, and a vapor-deposited plastic film tape is further applied on the surface with the vapor-deposited side facing inside. By winding the
To provide a material that is highly bendable, improves the adhesion of a vapor-deposited plastic film tape, has a smooth surface, does not oxidize the vapor-deposited surface, and exhibits a decorative pattern without the need for a top coat layer. It is.

[Example] Example (1) of the present invention will be described in detail below.
Mix 3 parts of a 3% solution of cloth seaweed, 1 part of a 55% ethylene vinyl acetate emulsion, 6 parts of a 50% kaolin clay solution, and 0.0002 parts of a fungicide on the surface of paper twisted yarn 1 and knead with a Banbury mixer. The obtained water-resistant coating agent 2 is applied, mechanically applied using a cloth or sponge, and dried. Next, a neutral adhesive 3 such as an ethylene vinyl acetate adhesive or a polyester resin adhesive is applied to the twisted paper yarn 1 obtained by applying the water-resistant coating agent 2, and a vapor-deposited plastic film is further applied to the surface. The obtained tape 4 is cut into a width of about 3 mm using a micro slitter, and the tape 4 is wound so that the vapor deposition surface 5 of the tape 4 faces inside, that is, the vapor deposition surface 5 side is attached.

[Effects of the invention] As described above, the invention provides a water-resistant clay coat layer 2 on the surface of an appropriate twisted paper yarn 1, the main component of which is 50% kaolin clay and a 55% ethylene vinyl acetate emulsion as a binding agent. provided, the clay coat layer 2
A water drawer for decorative work, characterized in that a neutral adhesive layer 3 based on ethylene vinyl acetate or polyester resin is provided on the surface, and a vapor-deposited plastic film tape 4 is further wound around the surface with the vapor-deposited surface 5 inside. Therefore, since a clay coat layer is formed on the surface of the paper strands 1 using the water-resistant coating agent 3, the unevenness on the surface of the paper strands 1 is eliminated, and the clay coating makes the paper strands water resistant. Not only can water in the adhesive 3 not be absorbed by the paper strands 1, greatly improving adhesive properties, but since the adhesive 3 is neutral, the vapor deposition surface 5 will not be oxidized. Since the vapor-deposited plastic film tape 4 is wound with the vapor-deposited surface 5 on the inner side, not only is there no need for a backing paper to improve attachment as in the past, but also an inorganic pigment is applied to improve adhesion. In addition, since the film side is used as the surface, the vapor deposition surface will not be damaged even without applying a top coat, which not only greatly improves adhesion, but also smoothes the surface of the water drawing. It is of high quality and elegant, and furthermore, because the conventional processing steps are simplified, the manufacturing cost is low and it can be provided at a low price. It has various truly remarkable effects.
