In recent years, double-glazed glass, which has two glass panes spaced apart and integrated into a single piece, has come to be used in building windows, bay windows, and other satin windows to improve heat insulation and sound insulation. . However, for sat windows with corners, it is desirable to adopt a butt structure without using vertical frames, from the viewpoint of good visibility, etc., and in such places, double glazing is Since two glass plates are combined, it cannot be installed with sufficient bearing strength, and therefore it has been difficult to use double-glazed glass in the butt corner portions.

In each of the above figures, the double-glazed window of this example is as follows:
The double-glazed glass 1, 1 is placed in a butt shape at the corner part, and each double-glazed glass 1, 1
A spacer 3 is provided on the periphery between the glass plates 2, 2, and a groove 4 with one side opened in the longitudinal direction is formed in the abutting portion 6 of each double-glazed glass 1, 1. Both ends of a joint material 5 having a substantially L-shaped cross section are fitted into the joint members 4 and 4, respectively.

The above-mentioned double-glazed glass 1 is formed by providing a spacer 3 at an arbitrary interval on the periphery of two glass plates 2, 2. It is desirable that this spacer 3 adopts an adhesive structure to the glass plates 2, 2. Furthermore, in the case of an adhesive structure, by creating a vacuum state within the space between the glass plates 2, 2, the heat insulation and sound insulation effects can be further improved.

As shown in FIG. 4, the butt part 6 of each double-glazed glass 1 is formed by a groove 4 that is opened in the longitudinal direction on one side, with the spacer 3 provided at a position slightly inside from the periphery of the glass plates 2, 2. It is designed to form a This groove part 4 is designed so that the edge of the inner glass plate 2 is slightly shorter than the edge of the outer glass plate 2 to prevent deformation, in order to connect the double-glazed glasses 1, 1 in a butt-like manner at the corners. It is U-shaped.

In the abutting portion 6, a joint material 5 is fitted and attached to each groove portion 4, 4 as shown in FIG. Install consecutively. The joint material 5 is formed to have a substantially L-shaped cross section, each end having a thickness and length suitable for the grooves 4, and as shown in FIG. It is formed in an elongated shape that matches the vertical length of the layered glass 1. The joint material 5 is made of transparent acrylic, polycarbonate, or the like, and by being transparent, the visibility at the corner portions is further prevented from being blocked.

When both ends of the joint material 5 are respectively fitted into the grooves 4, 4 of the double-glazed glass 1, 1, a gap 7a, 7b, and these gaps 7a and 7b are filled with sealing materials 8 and 8, respectively, and fixed as shown in FIG. This sealing material 8 is made of transparent silicon or the like to maintain good visibility. This sealing material 8 further increases the strength of the continuous arrangement of the abutting portions 6.

Note that the sealing material 8 may be integrally molded with the joint material 5 from transparent acrylic or the like to facilitate installation. Further, the groove portion 4 into which the joint material 5 is fitted can be provided by forming a concave groove in the spacer 3 itself as shown in FIG. The insertion protrusions 5a, 5a are formed.

At the edges of the three sides of the double-glazed glass 1 other than the abutting part 6, there are frames 1 shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, respectively.
0 and 10 are installed. A fitting protrusion 1 is provided on the outer surface of the frame 10 shown in the embodiment through a lifting allowance 11.
2 is provided. By inserting the fitting protrusions 12 into the recesses 14 of each frame 13, the double-glazed glass 1 can be attached to the frame 13 by a one-piece method. A rib 15 is attached to the vertical frame 13 as shown in FIG. In addition, joint material 5
is not limited to a long one, but a plurality of short ones can also be used. Also joint material 5
If it is fitted into the groove 4 using an adhesive, the adhesion of the continuous arrangement can be further improved.

In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the double-glazed window is constructed as a bay window. In the same figure, one side part shows an example in which double-glazed glass is applied to the rotating window 20. Incidentally, it is of course possible to use the frame 21 provided on the rotating window 20 for the double-glazed glass 1 of this embodiment.

As described above, in the double-glazed window of the present invention, a groove is provided at the abutting part of the double-glazed glass, and a joint material is fitted into this groove, so that the double-glazed glass is abutted at the corner of the projecting frame. Moreover, in the abutting part, the joint material having a substantially L-shaped cross section functions as the core material of the continuous part, so that sufficient support strength can be maintained even if the frame is omitted. Furthermore, since the butt parts can be connected in series by simply fitting the end of the joint material into the groove, the butt part can be carried out very easily.
