BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION Recently, from the viewpoint of resource conservation, there has been a strong demand for reducing rebound loss that occurs during spraying operations in various furnaces. Conventionally, rebound loss during spraying operations generally occurred at around 10 to 30%. As a countermeasure to this problem, the following measures have been taken, mainly for spraying repairs on gutters. A formwork made of perforated steel plate is set inside the damaged gutter lining, and the gap between the formwork and the damaged lining is sprayed and filled with spray-on refractory material. After curing, remove the formwork and complete the repair. However, this method has the following drawbacks.

(1) It is OK to fill up the gap between the formwork and the damaged lining with sprayed fireproofing material, such as on the side walls of a gutter. It is not sufficient to spray only from the sprayed area. In other furnaces, it is also difficult to repair the ceiling by spraying.

(2) The gap between the lining and the formwork must be at least wide enough to insert the spray nozzle, and it may be necessary to spray more than necessary.

(3) 型枠の取付け、取外しに時間がかかる。(3) It takes time to install and remove formwork.

A specific example of the present invention will be explained in detail based on the drawings. As shown in FIG. 1, a rebound loss prevention plate 6 having a large number of openings 7 perpendicular to the axis of the nozzle 2 is attached to the open end 5 of a conical cylinder 4 attached to the tip 3 of the nozzle 2. This is a spray nozzle 1 for preventing rebound loss.

Spraying nozzle 1 for preventing rebound loss of sprayed refractory material configured as described above (hereinafter simply referred to as spraying nozzle 1)
The rebound loss prevention plate 6 is oriented substantially parallel to the damaged surface 21 of the furnace wall, and is set at a distance of a predetermined spray repair thickness α. The spray nozzle 1 is moved (rotated) at the same horizontal level while maintaining the distance α from the damaged furnace wall surface 21. At the same time, a refractory material 22 is sprayed from the nozzle 2. Most of the refractory material 22 that collided with the damaged surface 21 of the furnace wall adheres, but 10 to 30% rebounds. The rebounded refractory material 22 collides with the rebound loss prevention plate 6 and the conical cylinder 4 again, bounces between the furnace wall damaged surface 21, the rebound loss prevention plate 6, and the conical cylinder 4, and is sprayed one after another to repair the furnace wall repair surface. It is captured in the refractory material 22 adhering to the refractory material 21 and sprayed onto the furnace wall repair surface 21, thereby reducing rebound loss. In addition, since the rebound loss prevention plate 6 slides on the spray repair work surface 23, it is finished smoothly. The compressed air that has carried the refractory material 22 is diffused into the atmosphere around the rebound loss prevention plate 3 and through the openings 7. Once the repair in the same horizontal level range is completed, the repair on the upper level is done in the same way.

The size of the rebound loss prevention plate 6 is, when the nozzle 2 has a diameter of 11/2 inches and the length of the conical tube 4 is 200 mm.
In order to cover the rebound range when spraying the refractory material 22, the spraying range of the refractory material 22 is approximately 300 mmφ, but preferably approximately 700 mmφ. If it is too large, the operating range will be limited. Further, the shape is not limited to a circle, but may be a square, a polygon, or the like. The openings 7 of the rebound loss prevention plate 6 should preferably have a diameter smaller than 3 mmφ, since large particles (about 3 mmφ) in the refractory material 22 cause rebound loss. The area occupied by the openings 7 of the rebound loss prevention plate 6 is 5%.
If the air pressure is less than 10, the compressed air conveying the refractory material 22 cannot be exhausted smoothly, and the compressed air blows out from the peripheral opening 24 of the rebound loss prevention plate 6 together with the fine powder and rebound particles in the refractory material 22. 30%
If it exceeds this, the fine powder in the refractory material 22 will spill out. Therefore, the area occupied by the openings 7 of the rebound loss prevention plate 6 for exhaust diffusion of compressed air to minimize scattering of fine powder and rebound loss of grains of the refractory material 22 is preferably 5 to 30%. The shape of the openings 7 may be circular, oval, square, polygonal, etc., and the arrangement may be staggered, parallel, etc.
