動運動を与えて塗装を行う電着塗装装置である。

に2本の支持アームを設け、この支持アームの先
端にくの字形の被塗物支持部材を軸で揺動自在に
枢着し、塗装槽の底面上方に前記被塗物支持部材
が係接する係接バーを設け、支持杆を上下動する
ことにより被塗物支持部材を係接バーを支点にし
て揺動させる構造であり、極めて複雑な機構であ
ると共に、被塗物支持部材の枢着部に塗料が付着
硬化して被塗物支持部材の揺動を阻害する問題が
ある。

物Wの形状によつて被塗物Wが電着塗装液2に充
分浸漬すよう加減する。例えば、被塗物Wの左右
の形状が大小異なる場合、形状の小さい方が電着
塗装液2に充分浸漬したところで、その側の昇降
シリンダ4の下降動を停止し、形状の大きい方の
側の昇降シリンダ4は、さらに下降動して形状が
大きい方が電着塗装液2に充分浸漬させる。すな
わち、左右両側の昇降シリンダ4の下降動停止位
置に差異を持たせるのである。
