Claims

[Claims for Utility Model Registration] An air conditioner for an automobile having a blower for blowing conditioned air and driving a refrigeration cycle compressor and the blower by a sub-engine, comprising: a blower motor for driving the blower; a first connecting means for connecting the sub-engine and the blower; a second connecting means for connecting the sub-engine and the compressor; an outside air temperature detecting means; and an outside air temperature determined by the outside air temperature detecting means to be a predetermined temperature. When the following conditions occur, the second connecting means is disconnected to stop driving the compressor, the first connecting means is disconnected, the sub-engine is stopped, and the blower is controlled to be driven by the blower motor. An air conditioner for an automobile, characterized in that it has a control means for controlling the air conditioner.
