第２ドラムとを重ねて有し、これら第１・第２ド
ラム１１，１２の間に、磁気ヘツド１４を単独も
しくは前記各ドラム１１，１２の内上側のドラム
１２と共に回転自在に設け、さらに、これらドラ
ム１１，１２に前記磁気ヘツド１４を回転駆動す
るモータ１３を重ねて設けたシリンダ装置１を備
えているとともに、ビデオカセツト３の挿入時の
高さから一段下がることにより磁気テープ５を前
記シリンダ装置１にローデイングするスロツトイ
ン方式のカセツトローデイング装置２を備えてい
るヘリカルスキヤン方式の磁気記録再生装置にお
いて、 前記モータ１３を、第１・第２ドラム１１，１
３の上側に重ねて設置するとともに、このモータ
１３の高さ位置を前記ビデオカセツト３の挿入時
におけるビデオカセツト３の高さ位置に合わせた
ことを特徴とするヘリカルスキヤン方式の磁気記
