For bay windows, it is desirable to install storm shutters to prevent crime in that area. However, since bay windows are installed protruding from the house, it is difficult to provide a door pocket for storing the shutters. Therefore, the inventor of the present invention previously installed the roll shutter storage section 4 in the bay window as shown in Fig. 10. The roll shutter 3 was installed in the eaves part 5, and was pulled down from the roll shutter storage part 4 to cover the glass window part of the bay window. However, if the roll shutter storage section 4 is provided inside the eaves, water droplets will scatter and flow toward the ceiling board 45 when rolling the roll shutter 3 to which rainwater has adhered, damaging the ceiling panel 45 or causing the bay window main body 2 to leak from this area. There was a problem with water leaking inside.

The present invention will be explained in detail below with reference to Examples. The bay window 1 with a roll shutter is composed of two units: a bay window main body part 2 and a roll shutter storage part 4 in which the roll shutter 3 is housed. The bay window main body part 2 is formed by assembling rectangular double-side frames 7, an upper horizontal frame 8, a lower horizontal frame 9, a base plate 10, and the like. The sleeve frame 7 portions on both sides of the bay window main body 2 serve as side window portions 11, and in the illustrated embodiment, glass plates 12 are fitted onto both sleeve frames 7, forming a so-called side window. Further, the front part of the bay window main body part 2 serves as a front window part 13, and in the illustrated embodiment, serves as a sliding door 14. Of course, the side window portions 11 and the front window portion 13 are not limited to just fitting or sliding in the illustrated embodiment. 15 in the figure is a screen door. This bay window main body part 2 is fixed to a pillar 17 or wall 6 of a building by a fixing member 18 using fixing pieces 16 provided on both side frames 7. The eaves part 5 includes an eaves frame 19 and a base plate 2
0, a front eave 21, an upper eave 22, a cover plate 23, a roll shutter device 26, etc. are assembled and formed. The eaves frame 19 has a trapezoidal front frame plate 25.
The rear ends of both sides are fixed to the front surface of the back plate 24, and the front frame plate 25 is provided with mounting brackets 53 for mounting the roll shutter device 26. Roll shutter device 26
The three rolls 27, the L-shaped support plate 28 that supports each roll 27, the universal joint 29 that connects each roll 27, the motor support frame 31 that supports the motor 30, and the pulley 32 of the motor 30 and the center A belt or chain 34 connecting the pulley 33 of the roll 27 of
and a roll shutter 3 with one end attached to each roll 27.
It is made up of. Each L-shaped support plate 28 and motor support frame 31 are fixed to a mounting bracket 53 by a fixing member 35, respectively. By the way, front frame plate 25
A partition A that divides the inside of the eaves part 5 into a front part and a rear part.
The front part of the eaves part 5 partitioned by the partition A serves as a roll shutter storage part 4. Here, an inspection hole 36 is bored in the front frame plate 25, which also serves as the partition A, and the motor 30 is disposed opposite to this inspection hole 36. The inspection lid 37 is inserted into the inspection hole 36 with the bolt 38
It is attached removably. In this case, the bolt 38 is tightened through the seal B to ensure watertightness. The eaves frame 19 is provided with a base plate support part 40, on which a base plate 20 is placed and fixed, and the upper eaves 22 is placed on the base plate 20. Further, the front eaves 21 is attached to the lower part of the outer circumference of the upper eaves 22. Furthermore, a cover plate 23 is attached to the lower part of the front eaves 21. The eaves portion 5 having the above structure is fixed to the wall 6 of the building at the back plate 24 portion of the eaves frame 19 using a fixing member 41. Further, in this case, the flange portion 42 of the upper eaves 22 is also fixed to the wall 6 with a fastener. By the way, as mentioned above, the bay window main body part 2 and the eaves part 5 are fixed to the wall 6 as a unit, but in this case, the bay window main body part 2 is first fixed to the wall 6, and then the eaves part 5 is fixed to the bay window main body part. 2 through the packing B, and in this state, attach the eaves part 5 to the wall 6.
If the roll shutter device 26 is installed, the eaves portion 5, which has become heavy due to the installation, does not need to be supported by hand during installation, and can be easily installed. By interposing the packing B as described above, airtightness and watertightness are maintained. Further, the upper part of the bay window main body part 2 and the eaves part 5 are connected by a connecting fitting 43. In the figure, reference numeral 44 denotes a ceiling plate support metal fitting, which is fixed to the wall 6, and includes a mounting piece 47 provided at the top of the upper horizontal frame 8 and the sleeve frame 7, and a ceiling plate support metal piece 4.
A ceiling plate 45 is placed on top of the ceiling plate 4 . Here ceiling board 4
5 can be removed by lifting it up and floating it, and by inserting your hand through the opening 46 formed in the ceiling and removing the inspection cover 37, you can maintain or inspect the motor 30, wiring, or mechanical parts through the inspection hole 36. It is set as. In the figure, reference numeral 48 denotes a rail, and the rail 48 is composed of a vertical frame 49 constituting the sleeve frame 7 and a guide cover 50 detachably attached to the vertical frame 49. Outer surface of vertical frame 49 and guide cover 5
A concave shape is formed by providing a protruding piece 51 on the inner surface of 0, overlapping the protruding pieces 51 and removably connecting them with screws 52, and making the outer surface of the vertical frame 49 and the inner surface of the guide cover 50 face each other through a gap. rail 48
It forms. Here, attach the rail 48 to the vertical frame 4
9 and a guide cover 50 that is detachably attached to it.
By being composed of two members, when the roll shutter 3 is damaged and needs to be replaced or repaired, the roll shutter 3 can be removed as shown in FIG. 9 by removing the guide cover 50. be. In the figure, 54 is a roll shutter drawer opening provided between the cover plate 23 and the upper end of the bay window main body 2, and 55 is a lower cover.

Thus, the roll shutter 3 rotates the central roll 27 by driving the motor 30, and also rotates the rolls 27 on both sides via the universal joint 29, moving the three roll shutters 3 up and down. It can be rolled up and stored in the roll shutter storage section 4, or rolled down along the rail 48 to close the front window section 13 and side window section 11. At this time, both ends of the roll shutter 3 are connected to the rails 4.
8 and moves up and down using rails 48 as a guide.

As described above, the present invention includes an eaves section at the top of the main body of the bay window, a roll shutter storage section for storing the roll shutters in the front part of the eaves section, and a partition to divide the inside of the eaves section into the front and rear parts. Even if rainwater adhering to the roll shutter is scattered in the roll shutter storage area when the roll shutter is rolled up, it will not flow to the ceiling board side of the bay window main body, and this will prevent the ceiling board from becoming dirty and flow from this part into the bay window main body. In addition, an inspection hole is provided in the partition, an inspection cover is removably attached to the inspection hole, and a ceiling plate that partitions the inside of the main body of the bay window and the rear part of the eaves can be attached and removed. Even if a partition is provided to prevent rainwater from entering, the machinery, electrical equipment, etc. inside the roll shutter storage area can be easily maintained and inspected by removing the ceiling plate and inspection cover.
