In FIG. 2, the metal tube connector 5 is partially inserted into the open end of the metal pipe 1, for example, by about 5 to 15 mm, and the insertion joint end of the electrode wire 4 into the metal tube connector 5 is inserted into the metal pipe 1. While located inside the pipe 1, a portion thereof is embedded in a sealant 7 made of a heat-resistant insulating material. The metal connector 5 and the electrode wire 4, and the metal tube connector 5 and the lead wire 6 are connected by spot welding or pressure bonding.

In the above configuration, even if bending stress or the like is applied to the lead wire 6, since the strength of the metal tube connector is high, the electrode wire 4 will not be directly bent and disconnected, and therefore the heating wire 2 The electrical circuit will not be cut off. Incidentally, as shown in FIG. 3, the sheathed portion of the lead wire 6 may be inserted and connected to the metal tube connector 5.

As described above, according to the present invention, the metal tube connector is provided with a metal tube connector in which the electrode wires connected to both ends of the heating wire are inserted and bonded to one end, and the lead wire is inserted and bonded to the other end. A part of the lead wire is embedded in a sealing agent that seals the opening of the bottomed cylindrical metal pipe with the inserted and joined end of the electrode wire located inside the metal pipe, so the lead wire is subject to bending stress and vibration. To provide a cartridge heater with a long life, since the electrode wire will not be directly bent and disconnected even if the heating wire is added, and as a result, the electric path to the heating wire will not be cut off. It is something that can be done.
