ものがあり、時針のフラツキを少なくする手段と
しては、針座を筒車に押しつけてブレーキをかけ
ることにより時針のフラツキを防いでいた。また
分針のフラツキを防ぐためにも筒車の針座が日の
裏車を通して分針のつけられた二番車のブレーキ
としてある程度役立つていたが、分針が大きくて
