Connecting devices in which complementary outer and inner conical portions are inserted into each other to create a sealing connection are known as the so-called Luer syringe system. However, when making the connection, there is a risk that the parts to be interconnected may become sterile due to being touched by hand or in some other manner. Moreover, air contamination may occur due to the inflow of air.

Even in the case of known coupling devices, it cannot be guaranteed that the two conical coupling parts cannot be unintentionally uncoupled from one another. For example, if a coupling device is used to connect an infusion tube to a vein and the connection between the infusion tube and the intravenous catheter is unnoticed and becomes disconnected, air embolism may occur. Blood spillage can also lead to bacterial infections during long-term use.

It is therefore an object of the present invention to provide a coupling member which is protected from contamination due to contact with hands or non-sterile objects before, during and after the coupling, and which communicates with the patient's veins. An object of the present invention is to provide a connecting device that automatically closes when the connection between members is inadvertently broken, thereby reliably preventing air from flowing into the veins and venous blood from overflowing.

According to the invention, the first coupling member with a conical inner surface has a radial circumferential groove in which a valve disk of elastomeric material is held which prevents penetration and has a slit; Another connecting member connecting the conical portion to the protective sleeve concentrically surrounding the conical portion has an inner diameter larger than the outer diameter of said first connecting member having an inner conical portion and connecting to the connecting nipple; supporting an outer cone forming an annular groove with a length deeper than the insertion length of the outer cone, when the outer cone is in the connected state inserted into the inner cone, the outer cone partially covers the valve disk; It becomes possible to pass through the slit and open the slit.

According to a further embodiment of the invention, the inner surface of the through passage of the first coupling member with an inner cone is provided with a radial circumferential groove in which an elastomeric material is provided which prevents penetration and has a central slit. a valve disc is retained, there is a guide between the valve disc and the inner cone for a tubular member, the tubular member being axially displaceable between the valve disc and the inner cone; Its front end is arranged in front of the plane plate in its retracted position, and in its extended position passes partially through this plane plate to open the slit, the outer conical part being inserted into the inner conical part and causing this. the outer cone protrudes into said guide by the distance that the tubular member must protrude in order to open the valve disk, the other coupling member being a collar on the outside of the tubular part having the outer cone; Via this it is possible to connect this tube section to a protective sleeve that concentrically surrounds it at certain distances and projects beyond it. In the coupling device according to the invention, the conical coupling parts are protected from contact by hands or non-sterile objects, i.e. the conical coupling parts are covered on the one hand by a protective sleeve and on the other hand inside the tube part. This is because it is placed in In the coupled state, both coupling members are protected from contamination by encapsulating a protective sleeve. If the connection is disconnected or disconnected,
The displaceable tubular member is in a retracted position in which the slit in the valve disk is closed so that the connecting member associated with the displaceable member is closed by a hermetic, liquid-tight seal. If the coupling device is inadvertently separated, the valve disk automatically assumes a closed position in which it forces the axially displaceable member into the retracted position.

According to a particularly advantageous embodiment of the invention, the tube part with an internal cone, which is inserted into the protective sleeve, comprises:
The outer surface has an annular groove in which an O-ring of elastomeric material is fitted, and the protective sleeve engages with and protects the O-ring when the outer and inner conical sections are interconnected. Deform elastically. This O-ring not only contributes to a better connection between the two interconnecting parts, but also allows the gap between itself and the conical connection to be filled with disinfectant. If the protective sleeve and both connecting members are made of transparent material, the disinfectant solution can be seen from the outside. Since the disinfectant solution will not leak, sterility will be reliably maintained.

With this structure, the inner cone is located inside the tube part and at a depth that is out of reach, thereby preventing the inner cone from being accidentally touched and contaminated.

In a further embodiment of the invention, the tubular part with an internal conical part is covered, until the connection is made, with a protective cap having a cylindrical part corresponding to the cylindrical part of the protective sleeve. Also in this case,
The O-ring maintains the sterility of the components located inside the coupling device throughout its production and storage period prior to subsequent use. To make the connection, it is only necessary to remove the protective cap and replace it with a connecting member with a protective sleeve. It is clear that a connecting element comprising an external cone and a protective sleeve can likewise be protected from contamination until it is connected by covering it with a cap or closing element.

The axially displaceable member may be a tubular member having ribs uniformly distributed on its cylindrical surface and extending along its generatrix. Since the tube member is guided and supported through these ribs, the friction associated with displacement of the member is reduced. Moreover, the part of the member facing the valve disk preferably tapers conically so that this member facing the valve disk engages the disk at a position closer to the center. This can help spread the slit provided in the valve disk.

Claims: 1. A cannula, catheter, consisting of two connecting members with nipples or tubes adapted to be positively interconnected with respective outer and inner cones on these members. In a connecting device for connecting flexible tubes, etc., the inner surface of the through passage of the first connecting member with the inner conical portion is provided with a radially circumferential groove, in which the through passage is blocked and the center a valve disc of elastomeric material having a slit is retained; another connecting member is connected to a protective sleeve concentrically surrounding the outer cone; and the first connecting member has the inner cone. connected to a connecting nipple supporting the outer conical part, which forms an annular groove having an inner diameter larger than the outer diameter of the part and having a length deeper than the insertion length of the inner conical part;
a cannula, characterized in that the outer cone, when in a connected state inserted into the inner cone, passes at least partially through the valve disk to open the slit; A connecting device for connecting catheters, flexible tubes, etc. 2 connecting cannulae, catheters, flexible tubes, etc., consisting of two connecting members with nipples or tubes adapted to be positively interconnected with their respective external and internal cones; In the coupling device, the inner surface of the through passage of the first coupling member with an inner conical portion is provided with a radial circumferential groove in which an elastomeric valve blocking the through passage and having a central slit is provided. A disc is retained and between the disc and the inner cone there is a guide for a tubular member, the tubular member being axially moved between the disc and the inner cone. and that its front end, in its retracted position, is arranged in front of the plane plate and in its protruding position partially passes through this plane plate to open the slit; When the conical portion is inserted into and connected to the internal conical portion, the external conical portion projects into the guide by a distance that the tubular member must project in order to open the valve disc. and the other connecting member connects via a collar on the outside of the tubular portion having the external conical portion to a protective sleeve that concentrically surrounds the tubular portion at a distance and projects beyond it. A connecting device for connecting cannulas, catheters, flexible tubes, etc., characterized in that they are connected.
