作用効果
本発明においては、パルプスラッジを炭化させた炭化ス
ラッジを選別機を用いて粒状選別したものである。製紙
工場においては、古紙を一部原料として使用するため、
古紙に付着しているインクの成分中に亜鉛を含有し、こ
れがパルプスラッジの中に不純物として堆積し、パルプ
スラッジを炭化させた炭化スラッジの粉の中に200p
pm位、炭化スラッジの粒子の中には50 p pm位
が残留するものである。従って、炭化スラッジを粒状選
別することによって不純物としての亜鉛の含有率は低下
するものである。しかし、粒状の炭化スラッジはpH8
以上でアルカリ性が高く、燐酸吸収率が高いため、他の
土壌や堆肥に対しての混合率は5%位までである。この
粒状炭化スラッジを土壌改良剤として育苗床、圃場等に
混合することにより土壌を団粒構造となしてVA菌根菌
、硝化菌、ホウセン菌等の増殖を促進させ、また、保水
性、透水性を向上させ、土中の熱吸収率もよく、土壌内
で発生する窒素ガスや有害ガスを吸収して水溶化させな
がら根の活性化を促し、植物の成育を促進させ得る等、
