[Detailed description of the invention] [Industrial application field] The present invention is equipped with a cylindrical part for housing the candle, which maintains the burning height of the candle at a constant level, prevents the molten wax from drooping, and also prevents the melting wax from sagging at the end of the candle burning. This invention relates to candle covers that can be easily identified.

Traditionally, when attaching a candle to a candlestick,
As it burns, the flame becomes shorter and smaller, the height of the flame changes, and the melted wax at the burning part tends to hang down on the surrounding surface, spoiling the aesthetics. Also, the dripping wax sticks to the saucer and cannot be used for combustion. This creates the trouble of cleaning the saucer.

For this reason, there have been proposals for so-called candle covers that can keep the combustion height constant by pushing up the candle housed in the cylinder with a spring, for example, in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 53-13568,
This method has been proposed in Publication No. 14-16367, etc.

On the other hand, although candle covers have the advantage of enhancing the appearance and keeping the combustion height constant, such candle covers should not be used when they are less convenient than candlesticks. One of the problems mentioned above is that since the candle cannot be seen from the outside when using a candle cover, it is possible to determine in advance that the remaining amount is low before the candle finishes burning. Furthermore, since the candle cover is meant to add dignity to a Buddhist altar, etc., it is also important that the candle cover has a good appearance.

On the other hand, in the above-mentioned Japanese Unexamined Patent Publication No. 53-13568, in order to perceive the progress of candle combustion from the outside, a long hole extending in the longitudinal direction and having a scale on the side is provided in the cylindrical part. The protruding piece of the push-up piece that receives the lower end of the candle faces out. Furthermore, Jitsukōdai 14−
The one disclosed in Publication No. 16367 has a head at the upper end of the cylindrical portion that bulges outward in the shape of a spherical piece, and has gourd-shaped through holes lined up in the circumferential direction in the head to "improve the appearance." . Moreover, in this device, the push-up piece that receives the lower end of the candle is formed into a plate shape using a thin plate.

However, in the above-mentioned Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 53-13568, the elongated hole extending almost the entire length of the cylinder part and having a scale gives the candle cover an unnatural feeling as if it were a so-called mechanical part. It cannot be suitable for solemnizing such things.

In the case of Utility Model Publication No. 14-16367, the push-up piece is shaped like a thin plate, so that the spring means at the lower end of the push-up piece rises as the candle burns. It is obvious that it can be seen through the hole, and it also spoils the appearance and does not make the Buddhist altar more solemn. Moreover, since the push-up piece is a thin plate plate and the head with the through hole is in the shape of an outwardly bulging spherical piece, even when the push-up piece approaches the through-hole, the outer peripheral surface of the push-up piece is The through-holes in the candle cover of the same publication can only be present at a certain height of the hole, and the degree of change in the illumination that leaks from the hole through the candle itself is relatively small. As stated in the above, it is used to improve appearance, and is not intended to be used to determine the amount of candle remaining by changing the illumination from the through hole.

The present invention makes the push-up piece columnar and its outer peripheral surface faces the through-hole from the height before the end of the candle's combustion until after the end of the candle's combustion, thereby making it possible to clearly see the change in the illumination that leaks from the through-hole and passes through the candle. The aim is to provide a candle cover that can enhance the appearance of the candle.

The candle cover of the present invention is provided with a head having a constricted part with a diameter smaller than the outer diameter of the candle and an inner hole communicating with the inside of the cylinder at the upper end of the cylinder that accommodates a straight candle; A push-up piece, on which the lower end of the candle can be placed, is biased upwardly by a spring means, and is capable of coming into contact with the inner surface of the inner hole as it rises as the candle burns is housed in a vertically movable manner. On the other hand, a through hole is provided on the side of the head, and the push-up piece extends through the through-hole from a height prior to the contact between the rising push-up piece and the inner surface of the inner hole. It is characterized by having a columnar shape with an outer circumferential surface facing toward.

A constriction part formed in the head provided at the upper end of the cylinder housing the candle locks the shoulder of the candle, and as the push-up piece pushes up the candle by the spring means, the candle burns at a certain height position. . Further, the flame of the candle due to combustion travels through the candle itself and illuminates the candle, and the illumination leaks through the through hole, thereby brightly illuminating the through hole. As the combustion progresses and near the end of combustion, the upper end of the raised push-up piece reaches the through hole, and its outer peripheral surface faces the through hole and overlaps with the through hole, which prevents the light leaking from the candle flame from the through hole. The hole is blocked and the hole is darkened. Further, by maintaining this darkening until the push-up piece contacts the head inner hole at the upper end of the cylinder, the difference in brightness indicates that the candle is nearing its end of burning. Furthermore, since only the outer circumferential surface of the push-up piece faces the through-hole, internal parts cannot be seen through and the appearance is improved.

By providing such a recess 42 on the lower surface of the push-up piece 7, the piston portion 33 is formed longer and the length of sliding contact with the inner surface of the cylindrical portion 3 is increased.
The push-up piece 7 can move smoothly by preventing twisting and the like. Further, the push-up piece 7 is biased upward by the spring means 6, so that when the head 5 is attached to the upper end of the cylindrical portion 3, the push-up piece 7 is pushed upward as shown in FIG. , the tapered portion 41 at the upper end of the vertical wall 36 closely contacts the inner surface of the tapered portion 19 of the inner hole 4. At this time, a gap is maintained between the lower and upper step portions 14 and 34. Further, when the head 5 is removed, the push-up piece 7 has an upwardly directed step portion 34 that is connected to the step portion 14 above the cylindrical portion 3.
The push-up piece 7 rises freely until it is locked by the lock, and the push-up piece 7 is prevented from coming off by the lock. Therefore, the push-up piece 7 and the spring means 6 are prevented from popping out, improving the ease of handling.

Moreover, the push-up piece 7 is moved from the lower position shown in FIG. 3 to the upper end of the push-up piece 7 shown in FIGS.
The rising piece 35 of the pushing-up piece 7 rises as the candle 2 burns until it contacts the inner surface.
Prior to the abutment, the outer circumferential surface of the upper end thereof is
The through hole 2 extends from the height reaching the lower end of the through hole 27 to the position where it abuts the inner surface of the head 5.
7, the flame of the candle 2 passes through the candle 2 itself and closes the through hole 27 that is illuminated from inside, and by cutting off the illumination, the through hole 27
becomes darker. Furthermore, the push-up piece 7 has a columnar shape and the through hole 27 is provided on the side of the head 5, and the upright wall 36 of the push-up piece 7 and the inner surface of the inner hole 4 are brought into contact with each other before the abutment. At the height position, the outer circumferential surface of the standing wall 36 of the push-up piece 7 faces the through-hole 27 and begins to overlap, and since the push-up piece 7 has a columnar shape, its outer circumferential surface is also faces the through hole 27 and continues to darken the through hole 27.

The spring means 6 is, for example, a coil spring made of a spring wire with a relatively small diameter, and is vertically supported by the recess 42 of the push-up piece 7 and the protrusion 47 of the bottom cover 9, and pushes up the candle 2. At the same time, when the head 5 is removed, the push-up piece 7 is pushed up until the upward step 34 of the push-up piece 7 comes into contact with the downward step 14.

However, by first removing the head 5 of the candle cover 1, the push-up piece 7 is moved upward by the spring means 6, as shown in FIG.
4 is pushed up until it is locked with the downward stepped portion 14 of the retaining ring 13, causing its raised portion 35 to protrude from the upper end of the cylindrical portion 3. Therefore, the push-up piece 7 and the spring means 6 are prevented from popping out from the upper end of the cylindrical portion 3, and therefore the candle 2 can be easily attached.
Further, by inserting the core metal fitting 39 into the pore of the candle 2, fitting it into the vertical wall 36, and seating it on the upper surface 37, and pushing down the candle 2, the push-up piece 7 is lowered. Note that the bottom plate 9 has a candle cover 1 with a nail body 55.
When the candle is pulled out, the hole 56 is automatically closed by the slit 59, and the piston part 33 of the push-up piece 7 comes into relatively tight sliding contact with the inner surface of the cylinder part 3. While pressing 2,
Even if you accidentally release your hand, the upward movement of the push-up piece 7 is suppressed by the amount of air flowing in between the piston part 33 and the inner surface of the cylinder part 3, and the sudden rise of the push-up piece 7 prevents the candle 2 from rising. Prevent jumping. Also push-up piece 7
Since the lower surface is provided with a recess 42 into which the upper end of the spring means 6 is fitted, the length of the piston part 33 is necessarily large, and it can slide over a long distance with the inner surface of the cylindrical part 2, preventing twisting. The movement of the push-up piece 7 becomes smooth.

After pressing down the candle 2, the head 5 is screwed together and attached. The shoulder portion 2a of the candle 2 comes into contact with the bent portion 20 of the inner hole 4, as shown in FIG. 3, and the candle 2 is housed inside the cylindrical portion 3 with the core portion 2b facing upward. Thereafter, the nail 55 of the candlestick 54 is inserted into the hole 56. The nail body 55 is
The candle cover 1 is usually relatively long and projects into the cylindrical portion 3 through the slit 59, allowing the candle cover 1 to be erected.

The wick 2b of the candle 2 is lit. The flame 2c of the candle 2 generates melting wax 2d around the wick 2b, which is softened by heating the shoulder 2a in the inner hole 4, and as the candle 2 burns, the melted wax 2d is generated around the wick 2b. The fuel is gradually raised while being squeezed and deformed, and combustion continues. Also, the outer peripheral part 2 of the tapered part 22
Since the maximum height position 24 of the head 3 is set at a height that hardly exceeds the constriction part 16, its tip 22 is moving away from the flame 2c, and as a result, unnecessary heating of the head 5 is prevented and melting is achieved. The generation of wax 2d can be suppressed to the minimum level. Further, even when the flame 2c is blown diagonally by the wind, the amount of heat received by the flame 2c can be suppressed to a minimum, thereby suppressing the generation of the melting solder 2d.

Further, as the candle 2 burns, the push-up piece 7 is pushed up by the spring means 6 as shown in FIG. It can be brought into relatively close contact with and blocks the space between them. Therefore, combustion continues and melts 2d
Even when the part sinks and the melting solder surface is located near the top of the standing wall 36, the melting solder 2d is prevented from entering the inside of the cylindrical part 3 beyond the upper end of the standing wall 36. As the combustion progresses further and as shown in Fig. 5, when all the remaining candle 2 becomes molten wax 2d, this molten wax 2
d can be stored and held by the vertical wall 36, and can be prevented from dripping into the cylindrical portion 2. In addition, the core fitting 39 can be placed upright along with the shortened wick 2b of the candle 2, making it possible to continue burning. Also core part 2
b burns while the molten wax 2d remains, and when the molten wax 2d becomes small and the core part 2b is burned out as shown in FIG. Raise, core metal fitting 3
It is also possible to burn the melting wax 2d using 9 as a combustion wick. Therefore, substantially the entire amount of the candle 2 can be burned, and the molten wax 2d can be prevented from hanging down and dripping into the cylindrical part 2, thereby improving usability. Furthermore, a through hole 27 provided on the side of the head 5
As mentioned above, the push-up piece 7 and the inner hole 4 of the head 5
At a height position prior to contact with the inner surface of the push-up piece 7, the outer circumferential surfaces of the push-up pieces 7 begin to face each other and overlap each other, and darken, and the darkening continues during the contact, causing the burning of the candle 2. Announce that the end is near. In addition, the outer circumferential surfaces face each other across the through hole 27, thereby preventing other internal parts from being seen through.

Also, while the candle is burning, the cap 8 is attached to its head 5.
By capping the cap 8 as described above,
As a result of the projecting part contacting the stepped part 25 and substantially airtightly covering the upper part thereof, the combustion of the candle 2 can be immediately interrupted, and the outflow of white smoke accompanying the extinguishing of the candle 2 can be efficiently prevented.

As mentioned above, the candle cover of the present invention stores the candle in the cylinder part and burns it while pushing it up by the spring means provided inside. Therefore, it maintains the burning height of the candle constant and
It prevents melted wax from sagging, improves aesthetics and usability, and helps conserve resources. Further, the push-up piece supporting the lower end of the candle rises as the candle burns, and when the candle approaches the end of burning, its outer peripheral surface faces and overlaps the through hole in the head. As a result, the light transmitted by the candle flame leaked through the candle itself, and the brightly illuminated through-holes gradually became dark as the amount of contact between the through-holes and the outer circumferential surface increased, and the outer circumferential surface of all the through-holes gradually became dark. By facing it, it changes color to darkness. Furthermore, the through hole continues to darken even after the push-up piece comes into contact with the inner surface of the inner hole of the head, so that the change in color becomes clear and it is possible to reliably perceive that the candle has finished burning.

Furthermore, since the outer circumferential surface of the push-up piece faces the through-hole, there is no visibility of the internal mechanism through the through-hole, which improves the appearance. When the through-hole is made small in diameter, it further improves the appearance and improves the appearance of the Buddhist altar. It becomes a candle cover that can be used for solemn purposes. Moreover, the push-up piece is provided with a raised portion above the piston portion that slides into contact with the inside of the cylindrical portion. Therefore, the push-up piece can move up and down smoothly inside the cylindrical portion without twisting, and
As described above, the outer circumferential surface of the upright portion overlaps the through hole and covers the through hole in a shutter-like manner until the upper end portion comes into contact with the inner surface of the cylindrical portion. Moreover, even when the candle is not attached, the outer peripheral surface of the push-up piece overlaps in a shatter-like manner in the through-hole, reducing the infiltration of dirt, foreign matter, etc. This prevents dirt from adhering to the surface, prevents functional deterioration, and provides excellent maintainability.
