Conventionally, to drain rainwater that has entered the lower frame of an opening,
By making a cutout between the rail and the vertical frame or by forming a drain port in the rail itself, water is drained from the cutout or drain port. However, during strong winds and heavy rain, rainwater enters the outside shoji rail from the rainwater discharge section, and sometimes rainwater can even be sprayed indoors.

In addition, in Utility Model Application Publication No. 54-43843, an airtight plate is arranged at a higher place than the drain hole drilled in the outer rail, and an auxiliary water drain is installed at the edge of the airtight plate to drain rainwater that has flowed onto the airtight plate. Rainwater drains have been proposed that drain downwards through holes. However, this one has an atrium structure under the airtight plate, so
The wind and rain that went around the inner shoji was agitated by the strong wind that came from the outer shoji, and turned into droplets on the plate under the airtight board.
There is a risk of water entering the room through the auxiliary drainage hole.

The present invention will be explained below with reference to an embodiment of a sliding window shown in the drawings. Figures 1 and 2 show the overall structure, Figures 3 to 5 show the airtight valve that drains accumulated rainwater and prevents outside air and rainwater from entering, and Figures 6 to 8 show the airtight valve that drains accumulated rainwater downward. Each figure shows a stopper for an inner shoji screen that has a communication opening for dropping into the interior.

On the other hand, the floating length l of the outer shoji 3 and the inner shoji 4 is larger than the distance l' between the lower ends of the lower frames 3B and 4B and the upper end of the indoor rising piece 13 of the lower frame 1. As a result, as shown by the arrow in Figure 1,
Once lifted, the lower part can be brought indoors and removed directly into the room. Further, the distance L between the lower end of the lower stile 3B, 4B and the upper end of the outer shoji rail 11 is L>l,
As a result, each shoji 3, 4 is prevented from coming off to the outside.

Further, a J-shaped engagement receiving part 14D is formed inside the outer shoji rail 11, and an engagement receiving part 14E is formed symmetrically to the engagement receiving part 14D at the lower part of the inner shoji rail 12. A closing plate 6 is provided so as to engage with and straddle these engagement receiving portions 14D and 14E. This closing plate 6
As shown in FIG. 2, the length is such that it connects the end surface of the stopper 7 with respect to the inner shoji 4 and a position slightly outward from the vertical stile of the outer shoji in the assembled state. As a result, the recesses between the inner and outer shoji rails 11 and 12 are an open recess 7A located on the indoor side of the inner shoji 4 and open upward, and a hollow recess 7 that is closed by the closing plate 6.
It is composed of B. Furthermore, the open recess 7A is visible in the hollow recess 7B, and in order to prevent outside air and rainwater from entering, a groove closing material 8 made of plastic or the like having the same cross-sectional shape is fitted into the end of the hollow recess 7B. .

Further, the stopper 7 includes locking claw pieces 71, 71 that cover the hollow recess 7B and hang down from the bottom, and a communication port 72 extending in the longitudinal direction is formed in the center portion. This stopper 7 is installed on the engagement receiving portion 14D and the connecting portion 14A, and the locking claw pieces 71, 71 are locked on the lower surfaces of the engagement receiving portions 14D, 14E.

Furthermore, a drainage port 14F is formed in the foot portion of the longitudinal center of the outer shoji rail 11.
An airtight valve 9 is engaged with F. The airtight valve 9 includes locking claw pieces 91, 91, which engage with the drain port 14F. Further, a drain port 92 is formed in the airtight valve 9, and an airtight plate 93 having a shaft portion 93a is pivotally attached to cover the drain port 92, and the lower portion thereof is rotatable outward about the shaft portion 93a. There is.

In such a structure, if rainwater sprays onto the closing plate 6 and accumulates therein, the rainwater W will flow along the closing plate 6 toward the stopper 7, as shown in FIG. It falls from the edge into the hollow recess 7B through the communication port 72. The fallen rainwater W flows along the rainwater drainage path 14B as shown in FIG. The liquid flows to the drain port 14F, pushes open the airtight plate 93, and flows out from the drain port 92.

On the other hand, even if rainwater enters the open recess 7A when each shoji 3, 4 is closed, the hollow recess 7B is closed by the groove closing material 8, so there is no water in the hollow recess 7B. The water does not enter and is directly drained from the drain port 14G.

Therefore, it is possible to reliably prevent rainwater from penetrating by capillary action from between the weather strip in the lower sill sill 4B and the inner sash rail 12, which has been considered a problem in the past. Also, bottom frame 1
Outside air and rainwater blown onto the front of the airtight plate 93
Since the drain port 92 is closed by the drain hole 92, the accumulated rainwater can flow out from the inside, but it is prevented from flowing into the inside. Even if rainwater drops enter through the airtight valve 9, they will only enter the vicinity of the airtight valve 9, and since the upper part is covered with a closing plate 6, they will not be scattered into the room. Moreover, the droplet does not reach the communication port 72 which is far away from the communication port 72, and therefore, the droplet is reliably prevented from scattering into the room. Although almost the same effect of preventing the intrusion of rainwater can be expected even without the airtight valve 9, it is desirable to provide the airtight valve 9 in order to block outside air.

Further, the accumulated rainwater W that has fallen into the hollow recess 7B flows down along the rainwater discharge path 14B. In the conventional example, the inner shoji rail stood upright from the lower frame body, so rainwater could not be drained smoothly, and if dust adhered to it, it was difficult to remove. On the other hand, in the above example, the lower part of the indoor side of the recess between the inner and outer shoji rails is used as a downward rainwater drainage path to the outdoor side with no steps, so accumulated rainwater flows down smoothly along this path. Even if the rainwater falls with dust, and even if dust adheres to the rainwater drainage channel, it can be easily removed using a spatula or the like.

Instead of the rainwater drainage channel in the above example, it may be a uniform arc surface, an inclined surface, or a curved surface. In short, any shape is sufficient as long as it does not form an orthogonal step at the lower part of the indoor side of the recess and allows rainwater to be discharged to the outdoor side without stagnation. Moreover, it goes without saying that the closing plate 6 may be formed integrally with the lower frame in advance, instead of being made as a separate body. In this case, it is formed by cutting out the open recess 7A portion after integral molding.

As described above, according to the present invention, the recesses of the inner and outer shoji rails are divided into the outer shoji side and the inner shoji side using the groove filling material, so that rainwater that blows into the open recess of the inner shoji side can be It does not get into the inner surface of the outer shoji and can prevent intrusion into the room. In addition, since the outer shoji gawa is equipped with a blocking part, even if rainwater is fanned by the wind and enters from the outer shoji gawa drainage hole, the rainwater will hit the lower surface of the blocker and form water droplets. Even though rainwater drips down and is eventually discharged from the drain, and some of the rainwater is carried by the wind and travels through the hollow recess to the communication port of the shoji stopper, the drain and the communication port are separated. Therefore, in the process of moving towards it, kinetic energy is lost,
The communication port does not reach the top surface of the blocking part or the room, and rainwater droplets do not enter the room.

On the other hand, if we consider that rainwater should intrude into the indoor side of the outer shoji from the closing frame etc., the rainwater will flow from the top of the blocking part through the communication opening of the shoji stopper and into the hollow recess and eventually reach the drain. It begins to be discharged outside. Therefore, by forming a communication opening in the shoji stopper for the inner shoji,
The upper surface of the closing part and the hollow recess below it are communicated and can be effectively used as a rainwater drainage route.
