板厚tより約0.2mm程薄くし、且つ長さlを外板
11の板厚tと内板10の板厚t2との和に略等し
い長さに設定しておく。この加圧はプレスの上型
に対応する突起等を形成しておけばよい。次に外
板11の内側に内板10の端部10aを重ね合わ
せた後プレスにより外板11の端部11aをU形
に折曲げて内板10の端部10aの内側に重ねて
これを包込むように挾持させて両者を結合させ
る。

て、自動車のドア等に適用すれば、ドアの周縁部
がきれいに整形され、車体との隙間を一定にでき
るので見栄えも大幅に向上する。
