This type of plug-in connector has a structure in which a holder made of heat-resistant insulating material includes a conductive member for connecting wires to each other, and a spring piece for press-fitting the wires to the conductive member. By simply removing the coating from the end and inserting the peeled part through the insertion opening of the holder, anyone can easily perform the wiring work, which has a great advantage.

By the way, conventional connectors of this type use a conductive plate formed by bending a plate-like member, and the peeled part of the electric wire is brought into contact with the bent top from a direction perpendicular to the top of the conductive plate, and a spring piece is applied from above. A structure in which a wire is electrically connected to a conductive plate by pressure contact is known. The wires are connected to each other by arranging and connecting the required number of wires to the above-mentioned conductive plate in the same manner.

However, in this conventional structure, the electric wire is only connected to the bent top of the conductive plate by point contact, which causes problems such as high contact resistance, difficulty in current flow, and poor heat dissipation. This was not desirable for establishing a highly reliable connection. Furthermore, in the conventional connector described above, the spring piece that presses the wire is attached to a part of the conductive plate, and the contact resistance between this spring piece and the electric wire is the same as that on the conductive plate side. Depending on the material of the piece, there was a risk that current would flow to one side of the spring, weakening the pressure contact force. Furthermore, in the configuration described above,
Since the required number of wires are lined up and connected horizontally on the conductive plate, it is not only troublesome to insert and pull out each wire, but also difficult to use. It is necessary to provide locking claws or the like on the spring pieces at both ends to prevent the spring pieces from escaping, and this causes the spring shape to vary depending on the number of wires connected, which is undesirable in terms of workability.

The present invention was developed in view of these circumstances, and includes a plurality of guide grooves that guide one end of the electric wire along the insertion direction and are electrically connected to the electric wire at predetermined intervals in the circumferential direction. By using a formed conductor and a spring member disposed around the conductor and having an inclined pressing piece that presses the electric wire inserted into the guide groove in the centripetal direction of the conductor. Therefore, despite the structure being simple, easy to form, and excellent in terms of cost, it increases the contact area of the wire with the conductor, reduces the contact resistance, facilitates the flow of current, and further improves the heat dissipation effect. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a plug-in connector that not only allows safe and proper connection, but also has excellent durability of each part, and is easy to use.

15 is incorporated into the above-mentioned holder 12 and the electric wire 1
A conductor that connects 3 wires to each other, as shown in Figure 3 a and b.
As shown in , it is made of a conductive material such as pure copper tin plate so that the cross section thereof is approximately cross-shaped. This conductor 15 characterizes the present invention, and guides the peeled part 13a of the electric wire 13 along the insertion direction in correspondence with the insertion opening 11 of the holder 12, and also guides the peeled part 13a of the electric wire 13 along the insertion direction.
A guide groove 16 having a substantially U-shape that is in contact with and electrically connected to the guide groove 3a is arranged at predetermined intervals in the circumferential direction of the guide groove 16.
It is formed in places. When such a conductor 15 is used, the wire 13 contacts the two surfaces forming the guide groove 16, and also makes contact at at least two points in the insertion direction, which makes the contact smaller than that of the conventional method. This can be effective in reducing resistance and increasing heat dissipation effect.

Reference numeral 17 denotes a pressing piece 18 disposed around the conductor 15 and inclined toward the insertion direction so as to press the peeled part of the electric wire 13 inserted into the guide groove 16 in the centripetal direction of the conductor 15. As is clear from FIGS. 4a, b, and c, a leaf spring is stamped and formed using a press, and the entire body is bent to form a substantially octagonal cylinder shape, and the pressing piece 18 is It is formed by bending it so that it is inclined inside. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 5, the spring member 17 is assembled into the holder 12 with the conductor 15 disposed therein, and one end of the spring member 17 is held in the annular groove 12b. At the same time, the other end is secured by a cap 14. Here, if the conductor 15 and the spring member 17 can be locked by other locking means, which may be integrated with the holder 12 or separate from the holder 12,
Cap 14 is not absolutely necessary.

Now, in such a configuration, when the electric wires 13 are sequentially inserted from the insertion port 11 of the holder 12, each electric wire 13 slides and is guided within the guide groove 16 of the conductor 15, as shown in FIG. Then, the pressing piece 18 of the spring member 17 is pushed up to be further inserted. At this time, each pressing piece 18 presses against each surface constituting the guide groove 16, and as a result, the electric wire 13 is pushed along the longitudinal direction of the conductor 15, as shown in FIGS. 5 and 6. It is easy to understand that the two surfaces forming the guide groove 16 are in contact with each other, so that the contact area of the electric wire 13 is increased, the contact resistance is small, and the heat dissipation is improved.

As explained above, the plug-in connector according to the present invention has a guide groove that guides one end of the electric wire along the insertion direction and is electrically connected to the electric wire through line contact at at least two locations. A spring member having a plurality of conductors formed in the circumferential direction and an inclined pressing piece that presses the electric wire in the guide groove in the centripetal direction around the conductor is disposed in the holder. Despite its simple structure and excellent workability and cost, it increases the contact area of the wire with the conductor, reduces the contact resistance, improves heat dissipation characteristics, and is arranged in the circumferential direction. Due to its cylindrical shape, it has various practical effects such as ease of use.
