Power sockets that are integrally equipped with AC and DC jack units are widely used in various electrical products, such as tape recorders and the like. Therefore, conventional power sockets of this type do not have AC power in the socket body.
The commercial and DC jack units were integrally formed. For example, only the size of the main parts of a DC jack unit is subject to various standards, such as EIAJ.
If the standard or DIN standard differs, the mold for molding the entire socket body will be replaced with a separate mold. For this reason, there was a problem in that the manufacturing cost increased. In order to solve this problem, recently, for example, a DC jack unit formed separately based on various standards is attached to a predetermined location of a socket body that is integrally formed with a general-purpose AC jack unit. I am planning to finish it. In this case, it is sufficient to prepare molds and the like for molding the unit body of the DC jack unit based on various standards.
This makes it possible to reduce manufacturing costs. However, when manufacturing a DC jack unit, conventionally the connection pins and connection terminals are fixed at the predetermined locations by caulking the predetermined portions of the connection pins inserted into the predetermined locations of the unit body, and these are electrically connected. I had it connected to. For this reason, a process for caulking the required portions of the connection pins is required, which increases the number of man-hours required to manufacture the DC jack unit itself, resulting in a corresponding increase in manufacturing costs.

Also, in recent years, small radio-cassette players, etc., are often equipped with only a DC socket without an AC socket, but in this case, the DC socket is usually installed near the jack board that has the signal output connectors, so the above-mentioned I had the same problem.

To this end, the present invention involves inserting a separately formed DC jack unit into a predetermined location of a socket body in which an AC jack unit is integrally formed, at right angles to the longitudinal direction of a connecting pin protruding from the unit. It is characterized in that the connecting terminal attached to the DC jack unit is covered by a cover member formed at a required portion of the socket body to prevent the connecting terminal from falling off.

As is clear from the above description of an embodiment of the present product, according to the present invention, a DC jack unit formed separately based on various standards is installed at a predetermined location of the socket body equipped with the first jack unit. Since the unit is installed and finished, molds and the like for molding the unit body of the DC jack unit need only be prepared based on various standards, thereby reducing manufacturing costs. Furthermore, since a DC jack unit in which the connecting pin and the connecting terminal are integrally formed is attached, the manufacturing process can be reduced. Furthermore, if the size of the main parts of the DC jack unit differs based on various standards,
By making the color of the unit body different depending on the standard, the present invention has excellent effects, such as preventing confusion of products during manufacturing.
