るセルの開口端を排気入口側と排気出口側とで交
互に目封じしてなるモノリス型担体に触媒を施し
た排気浄化用触媒装置において、前記多数のセル
のうち排気入口側に連通したセルの内表面に酸化
触媒を施すと共に、前記多数のセルのうち排気出
口側に連通するセルの内表面に還元触媒を施した
