Abstract

PURPOSE:To miniaturize a device and to eliminate a defect in contacting which is caused by lubricating oil scattered from a driving part by arranging electric contacts in front of a driving part constituted on the inner side of a main body. CONSTITUTION:The respective contacts are all arranged in front of a process cartridge 1 and positioned on the opposite side from a driving input gear 13 fitted on the inner side of a photosensitive drum 6. Consequently, the lubricating oil which is applied to the gear train on the main body side which is coupled with the driving input gear 13 is prevented from being scattered to the contact part to cause a defect in contacting. Further, a high-voltage contact 2 and a bias contact 4 are positioned almost on a straight line crossing the axis of the photosensitive drum 6 and an earth contact 3 is constituted off the straight line, so they can be arranged in a small space. Further, the earth contact 3 can be positioned at large distance from the high-voltage contact 3, so a leak is precluded.

不良の原因となるため、これを防止する部材や構成が必
要となり、複雑化する欠点があった。
