Conventionally, this type of sludge measuring instrument has been used to measure and monitor the amount of sludge or sludge in settling tanks of purification facilities such as sewage treatment plants, wastewater treatment facilities, and water treatment plants, and has been available in fixed and portable types. There is.
Portable types are used when it is difficult to use a fixed installation due to the structure of the sedimentation tank, or when occasional measurements and monitoring are sufficient for operational management, provided they are inexpensive.

(2) Handling of the cable 3 to which the detector 1 is attached is complicated. The cable 3 is often fed out and wound up by manually bundling or rolling it out, and even if the cable is equipped with a cable winder, the diameter of the cable is large and the workability is poor. Particularly, when used in sewage facilities, it causes discomfort.

Hereinafter, an embodiment of the present invention will be described in detail with reference to FIG. FIG. 2 is a perspective view showing the basic structure of the embodiment of the present invention. As shown in the figure, the above-mentioned embodiment device includes a sludge measuring device 1 for detecting sludge data.
1, a converter section 13 equipped with an indicator 12 for displaying the detection signal of the sludge measuring device 11, one end of which is connected to the sludge measuring device 11 so as to be freely accessible and detachable, and the other end detects the cable feeding distance. The cable winder 1 is engaged with the cable distance meter 14 and has a length that can be connected to the converter section 13.
A cable 16 fixed to 5 and the cable 16
The cable is inserted into the inside of the cable through a cleaning part 17 provided at its tip, a grip part 21 is formed at its base end, and the cable distance meter 14, a reversal prevention stopper mechanism, and its release mechanism are added in the middle. It consists of a support pipe 18 to which a winder 15 is integrally attached. The support fitting 19 is fixed to the support pipe 18 and has the function of holding the support pipe 18 on a fence, handrail, etc. provided around the sedimentation basin. The zero set button 20 is attached to the housing of the cable distance meter 14, and has the function of setting zero when measuring with the water surface of the sedimentation basin or the sedimentation basin structure as a reference.
The cable cleaning section 17 is formed into a bent cylindrical shape, and the cable 16 passed through the cylindrical interior is wrapped in a replaceable sponge or the like inside a flexible cylindrical case. A spring or wire is installed on the outer periphery to change the diameter of the case. The end of the spring or wire is extended close to the grip portion 21 so that the cable 16 can be tightened weakly when it is being fed out and strongly tightened when it is being wound up. Note that the cable distance meter 1
4 may be a device that utilizes the principle of a cable distance meter or the like having an existing mechanical structure as long as it can measure the dimensions of the cable 16 to be fed out or wound. Note that the cable winder 15 may be an electric type.

Since the device of this embodiment is configured as described above,
When transporting the support pipe 18 to the sedimentation tank and starting measurements, the detector 11 is connected and fixed to the end of the cable 16 hanging down from the cable cleaning section 17 provided at the end of the support pipe 18 that has been transported. The end is connected to the input terminal of the converter section 13 placed on the ground.
Next, the support fitting 19 provided on the support pipe 18 is placed on a shelf or handrail around the sedimentation basin, the stopper mechanism of the cable winder 15 is released, and the cable 16 is rotated in the direction in which it is fed out. The detector 11 hangs down due to its own weight and descends into the settling tank, and when it sinks to a desired sinking position, it is stopped using a stopper mechanism. Next, the measured sludge concentration, for example, is displayed on the ground converter section 13, and the cable distance meter 14
At the time when the detector 11 reaches the surface of the sedimentation tank,
By setting the zero set button 20, the depth of the measurement position in the sludge can be displayed on the distance indicator 14a.

When finishing the measurement and moving to the next sedimentation tank, at the same time wind up the cable winder 15, operate the tightening spring of the cable cleaning section 17 or the extended end of the wire, and use a sponge or the like to clean the outer periphery of the cable 16. Tighten. By tightening the sponge, the sludge adhering to the ascending cable 16 falls into the settling basin without contaminating other equipment.

In the conventional method, the detector 11 and the cable 16 are often molded and integrated, and the cable 1
6, because heavy objects are always attached to the tip.
It needed to have great strength, so it had a thick core wire and a strong coating. On the other hand, in this embodiment, the detector 11 and the cable 16 can be freely connected to and separated from each other using a simple tool, making it easy to replace the cable. can be made smaller and lighter.
