行なうためスポツト溶接の跡があつても塗装にて
隠蔽されるので差しつかえなかつたが、近年予め
塗装された鋼板を素材として使用する傾向にあ
り、この場合は折曲形成後スポツト溶接すること
は出来なかつた。そこで予め塗装した鋼板を使用
する場合は、第4図及び第5図に示すように、箱
体の前面フランジ1に切欠部2を設けるとともに
該切欠部の周囲に段付部3を形成し、該段付部と
前記切欠部2の間に前面フランジ1と面一状にな
るような合成樹脂製のコーナーピース4を挿入す
ることにより、切欠部2及び切断面5を隠蔽して
いた(実開昭54−90752号公報参照)。

も適当な曲率で曲成されるため塗装膜に亀裂を生
じることがない。

塗装膜に亀裂が生じない程度の適当な曲率で断面
略⊃字状に折返し折曲し上側折曲フランジ11と

位置した下側折曲フランジ10の重合端は上側折
曲フランジ11の折曲傾斜線13に沿つて背方に
前記曲率分だけ段落屈曲して段落片14を形成

従つて段落片14の段落度合は、上側折曲フラン
ジ11の外表面より折返し片12の背面に至る間
隔と略等しくなつている。尚、必要に応じて折返
し片12と段落片14との重合部分をスポツト溶
接すれば効果的であるが必ずしも必要ではない。
又、箱体6完成後所定の内箱(図示せず)を収納
配設し、箱体6と内箱間に断熱材(図示せず)を
発泡充填すれば、前記段落片14はその背面側か
ら発泡圧を受けて前記折返し片12に密接して上
側折曲フランジ11と下側折曲フランジ10の間
の面一度は更に正確になり、この状態で折返し片
12と段落片14との重合部分は断熱材中に埋設
される。

分の上側折曲フランジの重合端を傾斜して背方に

所謂適当な曲率で折返し折曲でき、塗装膜に亀裂
が生じることなく折曲線の塗装を良好な状態に保
持出来、意匠効果が良好に維持出来ると共に、形
成後の補修作業が殆んど不要である。又、重合部
分の下側折曲フランジも上側折曲フランジの折返
し折曲に伴つて適当な曲率で段落形成出来、前記
上側折曲フランジ同様塗装膜に亀裂を生じること
もない。しかも上下折曲フランジの重合部分が相
互に大きな段差はなく、相互に略同一面上に位置
出来る。又、外表面に露出する折曲端部は殆んど
曲面であつてフランジの切断端面は露呈せず、利
用者が触れても負傷することがなく、よつて従来
例の切断端面及び隙間の隠蔽用のコーナーピース
を省略出来るようになり、従つて、省略分だけ部
品点数及びそれに伴なう作業工数も削減し得て製
造コストを低減出来る。
