In the manufactured state, the pouch 1 has a flat shape with the body walls 1a in contact with each other and the body wall 1a and the bottom 1b. Bottom 1 as shown in
After expanding until the bent part 1b 1 of b almost disappears and the bottom part 1b becomes almost curved, the contents are filled,
For example, according to the method proposed by the present inventors in Japanese Patent Application No. 56-138600, the opening 1d is closed using opposing grip belts and grip rolls, and the belt is stretched straight by pulling it in the width direction. Alternatively, the stretched opening 1d is heat-sealed using a die-roll sealer or the like. After that, if the contents are fresh drinks or the like and are filled hot, they are cooled with water in a cooling device.

In order to convey the pouch 1 through each of these processes, conventionally a gripper method has been adopted in which the pouch 1 is mainly gripped by the edges 1e on both sides near the mouth 1d. Because there is
It is unsuitable for high-speed operations (for example, filling and heat sealing more than 150 pieces per minute). To solve this problem, a method has recently been proposed in which the pouches are stored in a box-shaped holder and transported by a belt conveyor.

(a) When the pouch is expanded and filled using the turret method, the introduction of the holder into the turret and its removal from the turret are usually carried out using a worm wheel 6 of the type described later. In order to engage the holders, it is necessary to leave some space between the front and rear holders. Therefore, when the holders accumulate in front of the worm wheel and come into contact with each other, as occurs especially when a turret is introduced, it becomes difficult for the worm wheel to transport the holders.

(b) It is difficult to store the pouch in the holder so that the center lines of the holder and the pouch in the traveling direction (the pouch is transported in the width direction, that is, in the direction in which the mouth portion 1d extends) are aligned, that is, it is difficult to center the pouch. be. If the center lines are misaligned, that is, if the centering is poor, the pouch will be inserted at an angle between the opposing grip belts during the mouth stretching process, resulting in wrinkles at the pouch mouth after stretching. Then, pores are generated in the wrinkled portion after heat sealing, and the sealing performance is likely to be impaired.

(c) When trying to take out the center ring described above, if the dimensions and shape of the holder are selected so that the inner peripheral surface of the holder makes surface contact with the body wall of the pouch after filling and sealing, pull up the pouch after sealing. It becomes difficult to remove it from the holder. This is because it is preferable to pull out the holder without holding the holder in terms of simplifying the apparatus and work.

As shown in FIG. 6, the lower end 3b 1 of the inner circumferential surface of the tapered portion 3b and the lower end 3c 1 of the inner circumferential surface of the central portion 3c are filled with the contents and are therefore sealed by heat sealing. The bottom end 1f of the pouch 1, a,
The shape of the storage section 3 is determined according to the size of the pouch 1, etc. so that there is almost point contact at points c, a', and c'. Due to the dimensions mentioned above and below,
The filled and sealed pouch 1 can be easily removed from the holder 2. In addition, the pouch 1, which is positioned by the above-mentioned point contact and the narrow lower end of the inner circumferential surface 3a2 of the side end 3a (w 1 ''; Fig. 5) described later, is There is no risk of it shaking inside the storage section 3.

As shown in FIG. 7, the inner peripheral surface 3a 2 of the side end 3a
The end portion 3a' 2 of the upper end on the tapered portion 3b side is filled with the contents, and the mouth portion 1d is completely filled (that is, without wrinkles etc.), and the upper end surface 1d 1 ( (Fig. 1) in a sealed state (without heat sealing) so that the mouth part 1d
(the inner surfaces of the pouch 1 may be in contact with each other), the outer surfaces of the pouch 1 are in substantially contact (in this specification, "substantially in contact" refers to a case where the outer surfaces of the pouch 1 are very close to each other, and to the extent that the pouch 1 is not dented). The shape of the tapered portion 3b is determined so that the shape of the tapered portion 3b includes the case where there is light contact.

If the portion 1g of the pouch 1 that contacts the end 3a 2 ' is depressed, the mouth 1d will remain open to some extent even after stretching, making it easy for wrinkles to occur during heat sealing. If the parts 1a are too far apart, the center will not come out during stretching, and both sides of the mouth part 1d will not be stretched evenly.
This is because wrinkles are more likely to occur after stretching.

The inner circumferential surface 3a2 of the side end portion 3a extending in the conveyance direction is
As mentioned above, the interval width w 1 is formed in a tapered slope portion that becomes narrower as it goes downward, and the interval width w 1 ′ at the upper end of the inner circumferential surface 3a 2 facilitates the insertion of the pouch 1. The spacing width w 1 ″ at the lower end is made narrow to hold the side edge heat-sealed portion 1a 1 of the bottom end 1f of the pouch 1 , and is preferably about 10 to 20 mm and about 1 ″, respectively. 3 mm.Therefore, the pouch 1 can be loaded smoothly, and its centering and holding can be ensured.
