As shown in Fig. 6, the half-round window frame A is divided into a roughly inverted U-shaped round frame window frame a1 , and a straight frame window frame a2 connecting both ends of the round frame window frame a1 . In a semi-circular window which is composed of a window frame A, a surface edge B is provided around the inner periphery of the window frame A, and a window glass C is held and fixed via this surface edge B. Because it is necessary to replace it with a new one due to damage etc., conventionally, the window frame A and the surface edge B that holds and fixes the window glass C are separated as shown in Fig. 7. The window glass C is fixed to the window frame A by fixing the formed edge B to the window frame A with screws D, and is held to the edge B by removing the screw D. The window glass C, which was placed inside the window, was to be removed from the window frame A. If the edge B is screwed to the window frame A in this way, the head of the screw D will naturally be exposed on the surface of the edge, resulting in an unsightly appearance. Screw insertion holes and screw holes must be drilled during factory production or on-site construction, and the installation work is extremely troublesome, and there is a risk of rainwater entering from the above-mentioned holes, making it difficult to maintain watertightness. There were also problems from above.

The present invention solves the above-mentioned difficulties all at once, and one embodiment of the invention will be explained based on the drawings.
In FIG. 1, numeral 1 is a window frame for a half-round window,
It consists of a round frame window frame 1a that is approximately inverted U-shaped and a straight frame window frame 1b that connects both lower ends of the round frame window frame 1a. A window glass fitting groove 2 is formed between them on the inner peripheral surface as shown in FIG.
A face edge member 4 consisting of a pair of face edge members 3, 3 which form and protrude oppositely from each other is formed integrally with the round frame window frame 1a, while the straight frame window frame 1b has an inner circumferential surface 5 thereof. As shown in FIG. 3, a fixed surface edge member 6 protruding approximately at the center thereof is formed integrally with the straight frame window frame 1b, and faces the fixed surface edge member 6 to form the straight frame window frame 1b. An engaging/disengaging surface edge member 7 is removably engaged with the frame 1b. That is, a substantially L-shaped rib 9 having an engagement groove 8 that opens toward the fixed surface edge member 6 side is protrudingly provided at the engagement/disengagement surface edge attachment position of the inner circumferential surface 5 of the straight window frame 1b. At the same time, a support leg insertion recess 10 is formed at the back of this rib 9. The fixing surface edge member 6 and the engaging/disengaging surface edge member 7 constitute a surface edge on the window frame side of the straight frame portion. The engaging/disengaging surface edge member 7 has a bottom wall part 11 and a right wall part 12 perpendicular to the bottom wall part 11, and a substantially L-shaped engaging hook part 13 and a support leg 1 on the bottom surface of the bottom wall part 11.
4 is provided protrudingly. Then, the engaging/disengaging surface edge member 7 is attached by engaging its engaging hook portion 13 with the engaging groove 8 and pushing the supporting leg 14 into the supporting leg plunge recess 10, so that the straight frame portion window frame A window glass fitting groove 15 is formed between a fixed surface edge member 6 integral with the window frame 1b and a surface edge member 7 for engagement and disengagement engaged with the window frame 1b. In addition, on the opposing surfaces of the double-sided edge members 6 and 7, seal fitting grooves 16 and 17 and seal removal prevention protrusions 18 and 19 are provided as appropriate.

Therefore, as shown in FIG. 4a, the window glass 20 is removed from the straight frame part window frame 1b with the surface edge member 7 for engagement and removal removed.
are fitted into the window glass fitting groove 2 of the round frame window frame 1a in the following order, and the above-mentioned surface edge member 7 for engagement and detachment is fitted.
As shown in FIG. 4b, the support leg 14 enters the support leg entry recess 10 with respect to the straight window frame 1b, and the engagement hook portion 13 contacts the window frame inner circumferential surface 5 to form the engagement groove 8. Then, slide the engaging/disengaging surface edge member 7 outward and attach it so that it faces the entrance of the engaging hook part 1 as shown in Fig. 4c.
3 into the engagement groove 8, and position the support leg 14 in contact with the rear wall 21 of the support leg entry recess 10, and as shown in FIG. By press-fitting the gaskets 22, 22 between the double-sided edge members 6, 7 and the gaskets 22, 22, the window glass 20 is held elastically by the double-sided edge members 6, 7 and the gaskets 22, 22. Furthermore, also in the window frame 1a for a semi-round window, the surface edge members 3, 3 of the surface edge portion 4 and the window glass 2
Packings 23, 23 are press-fitted between 0 and 0. In a semi-circular window using such a face edge configuration, when the window glass 20 needs to be replaced, the gaskets 22 and 23 from the entire circumference of the window frame 1 for the semi-circular window can be removed and the window glass 20 can be replaced. As the clamping force disappears,
The pressing force of the gasket 22 that fixed the engaging/disengaging surface edge member 7 to the straight frame window frame 1b is removed, and the engaging/disengaging surface edge member 7 becomes free to slide inward.
If this sliding is promoted to disengage the engaging hook portion 13 from the engaging groove 8, it can be easily removed from the straight window frame 1b. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 5, the window glass 20 is first moved in the direction of the arrow P, that is, the side of the straight frame window frame 1b from which the surface edge member 7 for engagement and disengagement has been removed, and then the window glass 20 is moved in the direction of the arrow P.
After pushing it in the direction, it can be pulled out from the window frame 1 for a semi-round window by tilting it slightly and pulling it out in the R direction.

According to the present invention, a so-called fastening structure is adopted in which the end faces of the round frame window frame and the straight frame window frame are butted against each other, but if it were a simple fastening structure, the shapes of the butted end faces would not match. First, a step may occur between the two end faces. However, according to the present invention, since the round frame window frame and the straight frame window frame are made of a material having the same cross-sectional appearance, the abutting end faces of both window frames have the same appearance. Therefore, there is no discrepancy such as a step between the two end faces. Therefore, even if a concave-convex decorative pattern is engraved on the surface of both window frames, the decorative pattern at the seam of both window frames will match perfectly, resulting in a so-called semi-round window with excellent frame-like decoration. can be used to form window frames.

In addition, a window glass is fitted into a glass fitting groove formed between edge members provided around the inner peripheral surface of the window frame, and a space between the indoor/outdoor surface of the window glass and each indoor/outdoor edge member is inserted. Since separate interior and exterior gaskets are press-fitted, the window glass installation procedure is such that the window glass can be inserted first and both gaskets can be press-fitted later. Even though it must be inserted into the narrow gap between the indoor and external edge members in a diagonal state from the narrow opening of the window frame, it can be smoothly and easily fitted.

Furthermore, since both of the above-mentioned gaskets press against the interior and exterior surfaces of the window glass independently of each other and do not touch the edges of the window glass, it is not possible to insert the window glass sufficiently deeply between the interior and exterior surface edge members. can. Therefore, the window glass is widely held at its periphery by the indoor/outside edge member via both gaskets, and can sufficiently withstand strong pressing forces such as wind pressure.
