Reference numeral 9 is attached with a pin, and is positioned within the storage recess 5 and supported by the crossbar 4. Reference numeral 10 denotes a stop pin, which is provided at the other end of the second contact 6 so as to penetrate therethrough. Reference numeral 11 denotes a torsion spring wound around the pin 9, one end of which engages with the inner surface of the storage recess 5, and the other end of which engages with the stop pin 10 that protrudes laterally from the second contact 6. The contact portion 6a of the second contact 6 is always in contact with the first contact 1.
It is biased in the direction of contacting the contact portion 1a. In this case, two torsion springs 11 are provided so as to be located on both sides of the second contactor 6 (only one is shown in the figure).

Thus, as shown in the figure, the first and second contacts 1 and 6
When the operation handle is operated manually in a state in which the two movable contacts 6 are in contact with each other (closed circuit state @), the lower link 8 of the operation mechanism moves upward, and the second movable contact 6 is integrated with the crossbar 4. When the tripping device detects an overcurrent, the lower link 8 rotates in the clockwise direction by 51° and moves to an open circuit position (not shown).
Similarly, as the cross bar 4 moves upward, the second contact 6 rotates clockwise together with the cross bar 4 and moves to a trip position (not shown). On the other hand, when a large current occurs due to a short circuit "1", currents flowing in opposite directions to the first contact 1 and the second contact 6 act between them. When the electromagnetic repulsive force exceeds a predetermined value, the second contact 6
resists the biasing force of the torsion spring 11, rotates independently around the support 7 in the clockwise direction, and separates from the first contact 1.

(Problems to be Solved by the Invention) In the case of the above (13-piece), the torsion spring 11 is provided in the storage recess 5 of the crossbar 4, so the torsion spring 11 is supported on the side wall of the storage recess 5. For mounting, it is necessary to form a hole or groove for attaching the pin 9. However, since the hole or groove is the inner surface of the storage recess 5, it is not necessary to provide it when molding the cross bar 4. Also, even if the cross bar 4 is formed by machining after being formed, it is difficult to form the cross bar 4, and therefore the cross bar 4 has the disadvantage of being difficult to process. It had to be assembled into a narrow space called the storage recess 5, which also had the disadvantage of being difficult to assemble.

-1-1z The cross spar 24 is provided with a protrusion 47 that protrudes forward at the rear of the storage recess 25, as shown in FIG. A pin 48 is provided at the other end (right end) of the second contact 29 through the support member 30, and a torsion spring 49 is wound around this pin 48. One end 49a of the torsion spring 49 engages with the second contact 29, and the other end 49b engages with the protrusion 47 of the storage recess 25 from above, and the second contact 29 is normally engaged with the torsion spring 49. With the support 31 as a fulcrum, the contact portion 29a contacts the first contact 22, and the d portion 22a
It is biased to rotate in the direction in which it contacts, that is, in the counterclockwise direction. In this case, the tip of the other end 49b of the torsion spring 49 is bent in an inverted shape. In this case, in the event of a large current such as a short circuit accident, the first contact 22 and the second contact 2
When the electromagnetic repulsion force acting between the two contacts 9 exceeds a predetermined value due to currents flowing in opposite directions to each other, the second contact 29 releases the torsion spring before the tripping device 42 operates. It rotates 11 clockwise around the shaft 31 against the biasing force of 49, and separates from the first contact 22 as shown in FIG.
