Cast-molded tires are known, which are obtained by injecting a fluid polymer material under pressure into a mold and curing it.
In conventional cast-molded tires, the tread portion was molded integrally with the tire body, so when the tread surface wore out, the entire tire became unusable, making it uneconomical.
Furthermore, since the shape of the tread portion is specified, its uses are limited and its versatility is poor.

In the cast tire according to the present invention, a tire body having a groove-like recess formed all around the outer circumference is molded by a casting method, and a tread portion is formed on the outer circumference in this groove-like recess. An annular tread band is fitted so that one side surface is in contact with the side wall of the groove-shaped recess, and the tread band is placed between the opposite side surface of the tread band and the side wall of the groove-shaped recess on the abutting side. A fixing belt that is pressed against the side wall of the groove and fixed in the groove-shaped recess is fitted.

The tire body (case) 2 is formed by pressurizing and injecting a high elastic modulus material such as polyurethane, thermoplastic elastomer, natural rubber, butadiene rubber, styrene-butadiene rubber, synthetic isoprene rubber, butyl rubber into a mold. It is a type product. In this case, in order to facilitate release from the mold after molding, a pair of annular halves divided around the equatorial plane C of the tire are individually molded, and after molding, they are joined together and integrated into the tire body. It is preferable to adopt the method of

A circumferential groove-like recess 6 is formed in the crown portion of the tire body 2. One side wall of the groove-shaped recess 6 (the side wall that becomes the outer side when the tire is mounted on a car) is an inclined wall 7 whose bottom part is cut outward from the upper edge and opens in the depth direction. It is formed. Also, the side wall 8 on the opposite side of the groove-shaped recess 6
The groove-shaped recess 6 is deeply cut in the vicinity of the side wall (the side wall that becomes the inner side when installed in an automobile) to form a groove-shaped belt fitting part 9. The projecting height of the side wall 8 is approximately equal to the level of the bottom surface of the groove-like recess 6, so that the annular tread band 3 can be inserted into and removed from the groove-like recess 6 from this portion. Although this side wall 8 is formed approximately vertically, it may be formed as an inclined wall that opens in the depth direction like the inclined wall 7.

The groove-like recess 6 has a tread portion 3a on the outer periphery.
An annular tread band 3 and a fixing belt 4 are fitted. Torred band 3
It is preferable to use a carbon-reinforced composition of general-purpose rubber. As the rubber material, it is preferable to use diene rubber such as natural rubber in order to improve the tire's ground contact characteristics, that is, grip characteristics, wear resistance, etc. preferable. A belt layer 11 having cords 10 such as steel cords, nylon cords, polyester cords, etc. is buried in a portion of the tread band 3 near the tire body 2. code 10
is a certain angle in the circumferential direction of the tire, for example 5 to 45 degrees,
More preferably, they are arranged at an angle in the range of 10 to 30 degrees. Furthermore, the fixing belt 4 is an endless belt having elasticity, and is preferably made of natural rubber, plastic, or the like reinforced with a high elastic modulus cord such as a steel cord or aromatic polyamide fiber.

The tread band 3 is formed as a band having a generally trapezoidal cross section, the width of the inner circumference being somewhat wider than the width of the outer circumference. Furthermore, the fixing belt 4 has an inclined surface 4a on one side surface that comes into close contact with the side surface of the tread band 3, and a side surface 4a on the opposite side.
b is formed as a substantially vertical surface that is in close contact with the side wall 8 of the groove-shaped recess 6. When the tread band 3 and the fixing belt 4 are fitted into the groove-shaped recess 6, one inclined side surface 3b of the tread band 3 is fitted into the groove-shaped recess 6.
The tread band 3 is firmly fixed to the tire body 2 by engaging with the inclined wall 7 of the tire body 2. The fixing belt 4 is an elastic belt that is press-fitted between the opposite side surface 3c of the tread band 3 and the side wall 8 of the groove-like recess 6, and presses the tread band 3 toward the inclined wall 7. At the same time, the tread band 3 is pressed against the bottom surface of the groove-like recess 6 through the engagement between the inclined surface 4a and the inclined side surface 3c.
Further, the side surface portion 4b of the fixing belt 4 is supported by the side wall 8 of the groove-like recess 6, thereby making the connection between the tire body 2 and the fixing belt 4 strong.

In this embodiment, the contact portion of the fixing belt 4 and the side wall of the groove-shaped recess 6 with respect to the tread band 3 is formed as an inclined surface, and the engagement of these inclined surfaces allows the tread band 3 to be firmly fixed to the tire body 2. However, the contact portion does not necessarily have to be an inclined surface, and in some cases, a part or all of it may be a contact portion between vertical surfaces. Furthermore, if a convex line and a concave line that engage with each other are formed on the inner surface of the tread band 3 and the bottom surface of the groove-like recess 6, one side will prevent slippage between the two, so that the tread band 3 and the tire body The bond with 2 becomes stronger.
Note that if the fixing belt 4, which is an elastic body, is removed, the tread band 3 can be freely inserted and removed, so the tread band 3 can be replaced as appropriate. The illustrated example of a cast tire is provided with a pair of reinforcing bead cores 12 at its bead portions.

Since the cast tire according to the present invention is constructed as described above, it is possible to replace the tread portion as appropriate, making it economical, highly versatile, and highly practical. This tire can be suitably used for light passenger cars, motorcycles, city cars, etc.
