本発明は、インク供給装置に関し、詳しくは記録剤にイ
ンクを用いるインクジェットプリンタに適用して好適な

別体に具え、それらの間を供給管等の連通部材を含むイ

といった上述の如き問題点を排除できるのみならず、配
管を要さないことからヘッドならびにインク供給源を含
むインク供給系の取扱いが容易となるという利点がある
反面、インク消費が進み、インク供給源内にインク残量
が小ないしは残量無しとなった場合、インク収容袋等イ
ンク供給源を構成する部材に比して高価であるヘッドも

して装着の容易性、装着時ないしは交換時のインク漏洩
の防止、装着状態における確実なインク連通等が確保さ
れるようにしなければならない。これらは、インク供給
源とヘッドとを離隔した位置に別体に設けたプリンタに
おいて、インク供給系とインク供給源とを接続させる場

いしは交換時のインク漏洩が生じず、しかも装着された
ときには確実なインクの連通状態を得ることのできるイ

(作 用〕

通部分のインク封止が確実に行えるので、インクの漏洩
が生じず、しかも良好なインク連通状態を得ることが可

が有する気密性および可どう性を生かしたまま、アルミ
ニウム薄膜32の強度を補強し、且つ耐腐食性を増すた
めに、ポリエチレンなどの樹脂膜30をコーティングし

態では未だ積層封止膜34にインク供給管20が到達し
ておらず、インク36は袋体16に内蔵されたままであ

た封止膜領域のみが破れる。かくしてインク36はイン
ク供給管20を介してヘッドプレート2 (第1図参照

耐腐食性および気密性を保持し得る封止膜であれば、如
