This is a PTP-controlled playback type automatic welding device that controls the positions of the welding torch and workpiece relative to each other in space according to positional information and control information stored in a storage device, and automatically performs welding according to a program. well known. When welding workpieces using such an automatic welding device, the moving speed of the welding torch is slow, so there is little chance of misalignment between the taught point and the actual welding position. However, in automatic fusing devices that cut the workpiece along the processing line, the moving speed of the cutting torch is fast, so energy caused by mechanical movement and transient phenomena in electronic circuits may cause the difference between the teaching point and the actual fusing point. There may be a deviation between the two positions.

To summarize the invention, in order to control the positional movement of a tool such as a cutting torch with respect to the workpiece, in a teaching mode, the position of a teaching point is taught in advance along the machining line of the workpiece, and the teaching information is stored in a storage means. ,
actuating the marking means to print a predetermined mark at a position on the workpiece corresponding to the teaching point;
In the test mode, the marking means is operated continuously to draw the movement trajectory when the teaching point is reproduced, and the deviation between the mark printed in the teaching mode and the movement trajectory drawn in the test mode is input. However, the teaching information stored in the storage means is modified based on the input deviation.

Next, the specific operation of one embodiment of the present invention will be explained with reference to FIGS. 1 to 6. First, it is assumed that the torch T shown in FIG. 1 is a cutting torch, and the work of cutting the workpiece W along the cutting line WL is automatically performed. Prior to executing this automatic fusing operation, the movement trajectory of the torch T is stored in the computer CO using a well-known playback method. To do this, for example, switch 2
There is also a method of teaching by setting 1 to ``MT'' and manually operating the switch groups 24 and 25 to trace the point P of the torch T along the line WL, but here we operate the detection device SE and perform this teaching operation. shall be carried out.

First, draw the line WL of the workpiece W using red paint. It is desirable to set the ground color for drawing this line WL to white in advance. Then, the torch T of the metal fitting 8 is removed and the detection device SE is attached in its place. In this case, the reference plane is a plane S 0 that passes through the front point P of the detection device SE and is orthogonal to the axis ST. Next, the operator activates the computer C, sets the switch 21 to "M", and switches the switch groups 24 and 25.
is manually operated, and the position and rotation angle are controlled by the control axes X, Y, Z, Φ, and Ψ, so that the detection device SE faces a certain point on the line WL at an appropriate distance. Then, set switch 21 to "ST", set switch 23 to the desired cutting speed in auto mode, and turn switches 22 and 26.
Set to ON.

In this way, the detection device SE automatically maintains the reference distance L 0 from the surface of the work W and maintains a posture perpendicular to this surface, while maintaining the teaching mode speed (computer calculation speed) stored in advance in the computer CO. The position and angle command information is sequentially output for each timing signal of the oscillator OS1 so as to follow the line WL at a time constant (determined by the time constant of the movable part of the sheath automatic fusing device). Furthermore, every fixed distance of this movement (every timing signal of oscillator OS2), encoders EX, EY, EZ,
Output information of EΦ and EΨ is stored in memory CO2. At this time, the speed information commanded by the switch 22 is also stored in the same way.

Next, the mode changeover switch 21 is set to the test mode "TE", the marker switch 26 is turned "ON", and the start button switch 22 is operated. Depending on the computer CO memory
Based on the teaching information stored in CO2, the detection device SE is moved along the marks M1, M2, M3, .
When this printing is finished, the operator measures the deviation between the mark points M1, M2, M3, etc. during teaching and the movement trajectory in the test mode, and if there is a deviation, inputs the deviation value and stores it in the memory CO2.
Correct the teaching information stored in . That is, for mark points that are out of alignment with the trajectory, the switch group 24,
25 to position the detection device SE so as to face the marked point, and press the start button 22 to import the position information. Here, when new information is taken in, the deviation is corrected by replacing the new information with the previously taught position information stored in the memory CO2. Then, by switching to the test mode again and moving the detection device SE to draw a trajectory based on this corrected teaching information, it can be confirmed that the machining line is accurately traced. Here, if there is a deviation from the mark, the correction can be made again as described above.

When machining multiple same workpieces, set the machining line WL to the workpieces as described above for the first workpiece.
By filling in the teaching information, modifying the teaching information using the teaching and test modes, and storing this modified teaching information in the memory CO2 as position information for the next workpiece, machining can be performed for the next workpiece. There is no need to draw lines.

As described above, according to the present invention, when teaching the machining line of a workpiece, mark points are printed each time teaching, so it becomes clear which mark point should be corrected. Therefore, by correcting the teaching information based on the deviation between the mark point and the movement trajectory when the position is controlled based on the teaching information, it is possible to reduce the deviation between the teaching information and the actual machining position.
