瓦焼成用ラインLaと平行に敷設された2本の軌
条8,9とこれらを連結する軌条7とからなり、
その両端を前記出口側軌条5に燻焼用ボツクス着
脱室12の方向に向けて接続した細長いU字状の
瓦燻焼冷却ラインLcが設けられている。焼成用
トンネル炉3の入口側には成形瓦素材を積載した
台車Tの入口シヤツター10を設け、出口側には
焼成を完了した瓦を積載した台車Tの一台分を収
容する如く出口シヤツター11により区画した燻
焼用ボツクス着脱室12を設ける。燻焼用ボツク
スBは、第2図及び第3図に示す如く、骨格材1
3により枠組し、上部外板14と側部外板15を
内張りして下方が開口する箱形状としたボツクス
外殻体16の上部外板14及び側部外板15内面
に耐火炉材より成る上部断熱壁17、側周部断熱
壁18を被設してボツクス本体19を構成したも
のである。この側周部断熱壁18の内側面下端周
縁部には下方に突出する筒状箱枠形の遮閉壁板体
20を固設すると共に、ボツクス本体19の上面
に懸吊用チヤンネル材21,21を垂設し、ボツ
クス本体19には側周部断熱壁18の内側面に沿
つて縦方向に配設する側管部22の上端部23を
屈曲して該側周部断熱壁18及び側部外板15を
貫通させ先端部を燻焼剤注入口24とする。ま
た、側管部22の上下端部には側周部断熱壁18
の内側面に沿う如く水平に配設した端末部25,
25′を閉塞し、適所に燻焼剤気化孔26,2
6′を穿設した上下管部27,27′を連設した燻
焼剤供給管28を内設する。なお、29はボツク
ス本体19に設けたガス抜孔である。また、台車

成用ラインと瓦積降し用ライン等からなる外周軌
条回路の内側に設けらているので、工場内のスペ
ースを有効に利用することができ全体のレイアウ
トが容易となる利点もあり、従来の燻瓦製造装置
の問題点を解決したものとしてその実用的価値は
