Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce the pwer consumption with a radio telephone equipment by actuating a control part for control of a switch to intermit a mike current and therefore to limit the waste of electric power in case an out-of-hook state lasts long after a radio circuit is cut. CONSTITUTION:This equipment includes a mike current detecting part 24 which detects the flow of the mike current, a call end detecting means which detects the end of a call with a base station, a switch 23 which turns on and off the mike current, and a control part 21. In case an off-hook state of a telephone receiver last longer than a fixed time with a radio circuit cut by the output of the part 24 after the end of a call with the base station is detected, the part 21 intermits periodically thereafter to control the mike current. Thus no loop current flows in an active mode of a mike power supply and the switch 23 is reset to a closed state after an on-hook state is detected. In such a way, the electric power consumed for the mike current is extremely reduced.

With conventional wireless telephone equipment, when a call ends between the base station and the wireless telephone equipment and a busy tone is sent from the handset of the telephone connected to the wireless telephone equipment, power consumption unrelated to communication is wasted. In order to reduce this noise as much as possible, efforts have been made to disconnect the wireless line between the base station and wireless telephone equipment and generate a busy tone at the own station. Current was flowing through it.

In conventional dual radio telephone devices, microphone current always flows when the handset is off-hook, so even after the call ends, the handset remains off-hook, so-called off-hook. If this condition continues, the line between the base station and the wireless telephone device is not connected and microphone current flows even though there is no need for microphone radio waves to flow, resulting in completely wasted power consumption. There is a drawback that it is easy to use. In particular, since wireless telephone devices are often used in situations where the power supply is poor, such as by being powered by solar batteries, their power consumption is an important issue, and there is the problem of wasteful power consumption as described above. That is a big problem.

The wireless telephone device of the present invention includes a microphone current detection section that detects that a microphone current is flowing, a call end detection means that detects that six conversations with a base station are completed, and a microphone current that turns on/off the microphone current. After the end of the call between the base station and the base station is detected by the switch to turn off and the end of call detection means, the output of the microphone current detector indicates that the wireless line is disconnected and the handset is turned off for a certain period of time. If the so-called "funk off" condition continues, the sinch is periodically intermittent.1. to control the microphone current,

The busy tone detection unit 11 of the base station detects that one call has ended and a busy tone is being sent, and the transmitter/receiver 12
control, stop transmission, and disconnect the wireless line. In the wireless telephone device of the slave station, the squelch control unit 14 monitors the limiter voltage output of the transmitter/receiver 13, and detects that the wireless line has been disconnected due to the disappearance of the received electric field from the base station. The power supply unit 15 detects that the wireless line has been disconnected from the output of the squelch control unit 14, and thereby detects that the call with the base station has ended. When the receiver is on-hook, the switch 23 is closed. Ori,
When the receiver is taken off-hook, the hook switch 25 closes and microphone current flows. The microphone current detection section 24 has a function of detecting that a microphone current is flowing, and thereby detects whether the receiver is off-hook based on whether a loop current flows when the microphone power is operated. The control unit 21 has a timer, and the off-hook state continues for a certain period of time after it is detected that the call between the base station and the wireless telephone device has ended and the wireless line has been disconnected. If so, the control unit 21 listens to the switch 23 and stops the microphone current. Thereafter, the control unit 21 periodically closes the switch 23 to flow the microphone current, and checks whether the receiver is on-hook by checking whether a loop current flows through the circuit.
Repeat until it is detected that the handset is on-hook because the loop current is no longer flowing. When it is detected that the handset is on-hook, the control section 21 returns the switch 23 to the closed state. Note that the control unit 21 closes the switch 23 when the switch control signal 201 is at a high level, and listens to the switch 23 when it is at a low level. Further, the microphone current detection unit output 202 becomes high level when the microphone current detection unit 24 detects that a microphone current is flowing, and becomes low level when no microphone current is detected.

上述の動作を第3図のタイムチャートで説明する。The above-mentioned operation will be explained using the time chart shown in FIG.

It is detected that the call has ended at time tA, and the off-hook state continues until time ttI, at which point the control section 21 opens the switch 23 to stop the microphone current. Thereafter, the control unit 21 controls the control unit 21 at regular intervals, that is, at time tc.

At timing to, the switch 23 is closed and microphone current is applied to check whether the receiver is on-hook. When the handset is turned on-hook at time t2x, the control unit 21 detects the on-footer at time t3' and returns the switch 23 to the closed state.

As explained below, in the present invention, if the disconnected state continues for a long time after the call ends and the wireless line between the base station and the wireless telephone device is disconnected, the control unit controls the switch. Intermittent microphone current has the effect of limiting wasteful power consumption and reducing power consumption.
