Description
本発明は、主鎖が実質的に炭素・炭素結合から
なり、末端あるいは側鎖に加水分解性シリル基を
含む、シリル基含有重合体とイソシアネート化合
物からなる低温で硬化可能な樹脂組成物に関す
る。
本発明者らは、主鎖が実質的に炭素・炭素結合
のみからなり、末端あるいは側鎖に加水分解性基
を有するシリル基を含有する重合体が、実質的に
主鎖が炭素・炭素結合のみからなる通常のビニル
系樹脂の特徴である高光沢、耐候性、耐変色性等
塗料、コーテイング剤、シーリング材及び接着材
としての優れた特徴だけでなく、加水分解性シリ
ル基による無機質の基材に対する密着性の向上、
さらに水分、特に大気中の水分による常温架橋
で、緻密な網状構造を形成し耐溶剤性、耐水性、
耐熱性、高い硬度、耐候性等に優れた樹脂になる
ことを見い出し、先に特許出願をおこなつている
(特開昭54−36395)。
本発明者らは、さらにシリル基含有ビニル系樹
脂の検討を進め、シリル基含有ビニル系樹脂とイ
ソシアネート化合物からなる樹脂組成物が、高温
ではもちろん、低温でも容易に硬化し、上記のシ
リル基含有ビニル系樹脂の優れた諸物性をさらに
向上させ、特に有機物に対する密着性及び可撓性
の向上した硬化樹脂となることを見い出し本発明
に至つた。
即ち本発明は、主鎖が実質的に炭素・炭素結合
の繰返しからなり、末端あるいは側鎖に加水分解
性基と結合した珪素原子を1分子中に少くとも1
個有するシリル基含有ビニル系樹脂(A)とイソシア
ネート化合物(B)とからなる樹脂組成物に関する。
本発明に用いられる樹脂は、主鎖が実質的に炭
素・炭素一重結合からなるビニル系重合体からな
り、末端あるいは側鎖に加水分解性基と結合した

The present inventors further investigated silyl group-containing vinyl resins, and found that a resin composition consisting of a silyl group-containing vinyl resin and an isocyanate compound was easily cured not only at high temperatures but also at low temperatures. The present inventors have discovered that the excellent physical properties of vinyl resins can be further improved, resulting in a cured resin with particularly improved adhesion to organic substances and flexibility. That is, in the present invention, the main chain substantially consists of repeating carbon-carbon bonds, and at least one silicon atom in one molecule is bonded to a hydrolyzable group at the terminal or side chain.
The present invention relates to a resin composition comprising a silyl group-containing vinyl resin (A) and an isocyanate compound (B).
