Abstract

PURPOSE:To efficiently collect iron dust by detachably inserting a magnet in a cylindrical vessel formed out of nonmagnetic or paramagnetic material to make a dust collecting unit, and arranging it in the upstream side of a motered fan. CONSTITUTION:The cylindrical vessels 2 formed out of nonmagnetic or paramagnetic material such as alminum or plastics are provided to a receiving case of a dust collector main body. And the cylindrical vessel 2 and a magnet 1 received therein constitute a dust collecting unit 3. These dust collecting units 3 are arranged in the upstream side of the motor fan 5. Accordingly, when the motor fan 5 is driven, the iron dust in the air moved to the direction shown by arrow A are attracted by the magnetic force of the dust collecting units 3 and removed. When the magnet 1 is withdrawn upward, the iron dust are fallen down on a receiving plate 6, and the iron dust are very easily collected.
