(B) Prior art In recent facsimile devices, as shown in Japanese Patent Application Laid-open No. 58-181368, the telephone number of the communication destination is written in the form of an abbreviated number in order to facilitate the dialing operation. It is configured so that it can be stored, read out with a simple operation, and automatically dialed. Then, I actually picked up the handset of the telephone connected to the facsimile device, closed the facsimile switch, connected the telephone line, and confirmed that I could make a call by checking the dial tone.
The automatic dialing device is driven by key operations on the facsimile device to automatically make a dial call. By the way, if you realize that you made a wrong dial call by pressing a key and want to interrupt the dial call, you can stop the dial call by operating the stop key, but if the handset of the telephone is disconnected. If it is,
The problem is that the telephone line remains connected, and the line is not restored without interrupting the operation of the exchange. In order to restore the telephone line, the handset must be turned on once, and the next call cannot be made immediately. It was something that I couldn't do.

The automatic dialing device 11 includes a tone dial circuit 13 that generates a dial tone signal in response to telephone number data from a control circuit 3, a pulse dial circuit 14 that generates dial pulses, and a changeover switch 1 that switches between tone dial and pulse dial.
In the drawing, the changeover switch 15 is switched to the pulse dial side. Furthermore, 16 is a normally closed relay contact that is controlled to open and close by driving a relay 17, and the relay 17 is driven by the output of the pulse dial circuit 14 or the output of a timer circuit 19 that generates an output for 3 seconds after the stop switch 18 is operated. Both outputs are supplied to a drive transistor 21 via an OR gate 20 so that

First, prior to use, the telephone number data of the main communication destination is entered from the keyboard 5 and stored in the storage device 6 in advance. In the standby state, the relay contacts 2, 2' and 12, 12' are switched as shown in the drawing, and the telephone 10 is connected to the telephone line L 1 ,
Connected to L 2 . Therefore, when the facsimile automatic reception mode is set using the keyboard 5, when an incoming call is received and the bell signal of the incoming call is detected by the bell signal detection circuit 7, the control circuit 3 sends the relay 8
to drive the movable contacts 2a of relay contacts 2, 2',
By switching 2'a to the other fixed contact 2c, 2'c side, the transmitting/receiving section 1 of the facsimile device is connected to the telephone lines L1 , L2 , and the received signal is decoded and recorded by the recording section, and then received. will be carried out.
When reception is completed, the relay contacts 2 and 2' return to disconnect the telephone line and restore the standby state.

When transmitting the next time, after setting the original to be transmitted, pick up the handset of the telephone 10, close the switch to close the telephone line, and confirm the dial tone, which is stored in the storage device 6 in advance. When a key is operated on the keyboard 5 to read out the telephone number data of the communication destination, the control circuit 3 that receives the key signal drives the relay 9 and switches the movable contacts 12a and 12'a of the relay contacts 12 and 12' to the other one. Switch to the fixed contacts 12c, 12'c side, disconnect the telephone 10 from the telephone lines L1 , L2 , connect the automatic dialing device 11, and connect the storage device 6.
The telephone number data of the communication destinations read out from the terminal are sequentially supplied to the automatic dialing device 11. Since the changeover switch 15 is now switched to the pulse dial side, the telephone number data supplied from the control circuit 3 is converted into a dial pulse by the pulse dial circuit 14, and then passed through the OR gate 20 to the drive transistor 2.
1. This drives the relay 17 in response to the dial pulse, and by opening and closing the relay contacts 16, the dial pulse is sent to the telephone lines L 1 and L 2 . When dial pulse transmission is finished, relay 9 is deactivated and relay contacts 12, 12'
is switched to the telephone 10 again, so when the response signal from the other party's facsimile device is confirmed through the handset and the send key on the keyboard 5 is operated, the control circuit 3 drives the relay 8 and switches the relay contacts 2 and 2' for the first time. The telephone lines L 1 and L 2 are connected to the transmitting/receiving section 1, and the read transmission original data is encoded and transmitted to the telephone lines L 1 and L 2 . When the transmission is completed, relay 8 is inoperative and relay contact 2,
2' is restored, the handset is already hooked up to the telephone set 10, the line is restored, and the line goes into a standby state.

By the way, if you notice an error during automatic dialing and cancel the dialing as described above, when you operate the stop switch 18, the control circuit 3 that detects the switch signal immediately stops generating telephone number data. This causes the pulse dial circuit 14 to stop generating pulse dials. At this time, relay 9 immediately becomes inoperable and relay contact 1
2 and 12' are switched to the telephone 10 side, since the handset of the telephone 10 is disconnected, the telephone lines L 1 and L 2 are held, and the operation is interrupted for the exchange. The line will not be restored. Therefore, the next call cannot be made unless the handset is turned on.

Therefore, in the present invention, when the stop switch 18 is operated, the control circuit 3 continuously drives the relay 9 for at least 3 seconds, and the timer circuit 19 operates to drive the relay 17 for 3 seconds.
When the relay contact 16 is opened, the telephone lines L 1 and L 2 are disconnected, and the interruption of operation can be transmitted to the exchange, allowing the line to be restored. After 3 seconds, relay 9 becomes inoperable and relay contacts 12, 12' close to telephone 10.
However, the line has already been restored, and even if the handset of the telephone set 10 is disconnected, there is no problem that the line will not be restored as described above.
Therefore, the next dialing operation can be performed immediately while holding the handset.

In addition, the changeover switch 15 is the tone dial circuit 13.
When the telephone number is switched to the side, a tone signal corresponding to the telephone number data from the control circuit 3 is generated and dialing is performed. In this case as well, when the stop switch 18 is operated to stop dialing midway through, the relay 17 is driven for 3 seconds and the relay contact 16 that generates the dial pulse, which is directly connected to the line, is opened, thereby causing the aforementioned You can restore the line in the same way.

(f) Effects of the invention As mentioned above, the facsimile device of the present invention is equipped with an automatic dialing device, and if a stop operation is performed to stop the dialing while it is automatically dialing, it immediately stops dialing and also This is configured to disconnect the telephone line, and it can be reliably restored even if the telephone handset is disconnected, so there is no need to turn on the handset once for restoration, and the next call can be made immediately. There are some effects that can be achieved. Also, by releasing the relay contact that generates the dial pulse for a predetermined period of time,
The line can be restored in both pulse dialing and tone dialing, and has the advantage of simplifying the configuration.
