ガイド12を回動させるようにするとともに他方
の駆動シリンダーのピストンロツドの作動位置に
より布ガイド12の回動量を規制するようにした
もので、補強布を縫い付けるときには布ガイドを
上げて布の所要位置に補強布を置き、手を添えな
がら案内することができるため従来では自動サー
ジングミシンに掛けることができなかつた補強布
の縫付けが可能となること、布ガイドが布をガイ
ドする作用位置と(第6図)、それより僅かに持
上げられ、生地挿入が行われ易いようにした位置
と(第5図)、補強布を縫付けようとする場合、
手を添えながら案内することができるように起し
た位置(第7図)とに切換えられるのに、一対の
駆動シリンダーを使用するだけで簡単にしかも縫
合中でも確実に行うことができること、すなわち
単一の駆動シリンダーによりストロークを変えて
上記のような三位置の切換えを縫合中でも行える
ようにしようとすれば、複雑な制御機構を必要と
するが、ピストンロツドが前進位置と後退位置の
二位置に切換えられる駆動シリンダーを一対使用
するだけで簡単に行うことができることなどの効
果を有している。
